January 1, Major Conservative Group Just Dropped the ‘T’ — Backlash Against Radical Activism Explodes

The nation’s largest gay conservative organization just made a major break with the radical transgender movement. And they’re not holding back about why.
Ross Hemminger, president of the Log Cabin Republicans, announced this week his group is officially removing the ‘T’ from its advocacy mission. After years of watching transgender activists push increasingly extreme policies on children, the organization has had enough.
“Fifty years ago next year, Log Cabin Republicans was founded on a simple conviction: that gay Americans who believe in limited government, individual liberty, and equality deserve equal protection under the law and a voice inside the Republican Party,” Hemminger wrote.
“From the start, Log Cabin Republicans grounded its advocacy in constitutional principles — equal protection, limited government, and individual freedom.”
The split comes nearly a decade after the group’s board voted in 2015 to add transgender issues to its mission. Back then, nobody imagined where the movement would end up.
“At the time, we did not believe that we would find ourselves where we are today,” Hemminger explained. “The transgender movement has ceased focusing on adults at all — nearly all of their efforts and those of their aligned special interest groups focus on minors.”
“They push schools to teach radical gender ideology; they want biological men in women’s sports regardless of the consequences; perhaps most offensively, they support gender reassignment treatments for minors, often without the knowledge or consent of the parents, knowing full well these treatments are mostly irreversible.”
Hemminger pointed to troubling polling data showing public support for gay Americans is declining for the first time in decades. The reason? Younger voters who didn’t live through the long fight for gay marriage now associate the entire gay community with radical transgender activism.
“Gay men and women are losing public support across the country, and support for gay marriage and other once-widely accepted rights is eroding,” he warned. The damage is being done by activists who “their view of the gay community is based on today’s radical transgender activists.”
“That is why, after significant discussion with our membership, our Board of Directors voted to refine Log Cabin Republicans’ national advocacy focus to concentrate specifically on issues of sexual orientation and conservative values — in other words, we are an LGB advocacy organization, as our founders envisioned and as our moral center calls us to be.”
The organization remains open to all conservative members and allies. But its advocacy will now focus squarely on issues rooted in constitutional principles — marriage, adoption, military service, and equal treatment under the law.
“Issues of sexual orientation — marriage, adoption, military service, nondiscrimination rooted in equal treatment, and religious liberty protections applied fairly — are grounded in constitutional clarity.”
“They align directly with the Republican commitment to limited government and equal protection under the law.”
“When we remain focused on those principles, we win.”
Wyatt Matters
This is what happens when common sense collides with radical ideology. Most Americans have no problem with adults living their lives as they see fit. But targeting kids with life-altering medical treatments? Forcing girls to compete against biological males? Hiding information from parents? That crosses a line. And now even gay conservatives are saying enough is enough. When you lose the people who should be your natural allies, maybe it’s time to look in the mirror and ask if you’ve gone too far.

Please stop using the ridiculous phrase, “biological male” when there are no other types of males, since we agree that “transgender females” are not female. They are male.
And those horning their way into female sports are Cheaters. Use that word for what they are: Cheating in sports, which has always led to the banishment of those cheaters for their intentional fraud.
Why was Will Thomas, the 6’4″ male swimmer, who claimed he was female, not banished at the University of Pennsylvania?
Why was he protected by Amy Gutmann, the president of the university then, to abuse the University’s female swimmers for a whole season?
Why did Biden, as a result, award Gutmann an Ambassadorship to Germany for her support and her protection of Cheating at Penn, the university of which she was President?
Cheating in sports, the reason the IVY League was founded was to prevent cheating in sports.
Gutmann allowed and protected the blatant abuse her own female students and swimmers!!

Very well said. Words DO have meaning. No less abusive and insulting is the term “Transgender.” Meaningless, insulting, and a cover for severe mental illness or raging narcissism.

Adults are old enough, experienced enough, and (Hopefully) mature enough to decide for themselves, and live with the consequences of personal life changing decisions. As adults, they have those choices, freedoms and responsibilities. However, using their seniority, position, and personally established/accepted moral values to influence, expose, urge, mentor, instruct, facilitate, and lead, our youngest most valuable and lease prepared – our children into life changing situations, circumstances and events that they are neither prepared to fully understand nor accept is Wrong. Contrarily, it is the responsibility of adults to protect, nurture, provide for, and educate our children to a point where they are capable of making their own life decisions and decerning their own paths, and in the world.

There is no such thing as “transgender.” Everyone is binary, either male or female, as proven by DNA. Science has not found a way to change DNA. For good measure, sex is assigned at conception, not birth. And a person’s sex is unchanged throughout their life. LGBQ is real but there is no T. It’s called dysphoria and is a mental impairment.

Changing kids was done back in the 1960s when my mom worked at St Anthony’s Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. I was a teenager and was absolutely baffled by this happening. It was not dnon due to the preaching kids get these days at schools. Mom’s job would be called a Nursing Assistant these days, but it was a Nurse Aide back then.
I have met one child for whom this transition was accomplished. The reaseon stated by the aunt, a coworker of mine, the child was enduring massive seizures and after all meds were tried the only thing the doctors could try was a gender change at age 4. Surprisingly the gender change actually stopped the massive seizures.
Other than this child, until the massive push of recent history, I never again heard of any child being surgically changed in this fashion.

Exactly.
The earth is round, not square.
There are only 2 genders.

At conception, when an embryo is designated a male, and when HE grows up, if he can conceive a child “naturally”, then deliver that baby naturally, and he is then able to nurse that baby, I might think about there being more than 2 genders. Otherwise keep the lies to yourselves. Don’t try to convince us of some falsehood that is manifested in a sick mind.

Why doesn’t someone ask and explore the WHY question. A baby is born either a male or a female and it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know which. Where then does those who are confused about their sex or their want to be sex get the idea or desire to be what they are not. Well, in my opinion, they have been brain washed, either intentionally (design) or accident (didn’t mean for it happen). So let me ask a stupid question. Who could have that much influence (aka brain wash) on a baby/child? Well, again it doesn’t take a rocket scientist. It would certainly have to be someone with contact and influence on the child. Who could that be? That list would include parent(s), relative, teacher, babysitter, and possibly others. WHY? The root cause will be figured out one of these days and there will be confused young adults that will pursue legal actions against responsible party(S).

Almost ridiculous! I believe God created us! Either as a male with one or as a female without! This is not complicated until you inject projected benefits?
