Wyatt’s Take

  • The House narrowly rejected a Democrat-backed resolution that would have constrained the President’s authority.
  • Only one Republican broke ranks as nearly every Democrat supported the measure.
  • The vote preserves the current pressure campaign while the Senate has already failed on a similar effort.

Representative Gregory Meeks said the operations amounted to war and argued Congress should not be sidelined.

House Majority Whip Tom Emmer said the President’s actions have protected American lives and strengthened regional stability.

“This is not a skirmish. This is not a military operation. This is a war,” Meeks said.

“I believe we will be rewarded for the president’s efforts,” Emmer stated.

Under the War Powers Act, Congress has until April 28th to weigh in once combat reaches the 60-day mark. Senate Democrats are still promising to force weekly votes.

Wyatt Matters

Strong leadership matters when adversaries test American resolve. Keeping command decisions intact helps the nation act decisively instead of getting bogged down in red tape.

    Rep. Meeks is absolutely right:
THE USA ARE AT WAR WITH ANOTHER COUNTRY:
AND MUCH WORSE: AN ILLEGAL ROBBER WAR!
    BLACKMAILING THE ENTIRE WORLD!

What I cannot understand with not only the USA politicians but every politician in any NATO member country! Don’t they realise the very high risk of one government with a very bad history of feeding all the terrorists groups around the world,if they succeed in developing a Nuclear Weapon, when the world would be held to ransom, because their religious ideology holds no bounds, they treat life as a grains of sand running through their fingers, it as no value to them, so they wouldn’t care about using their weapon’s, it would be the death of the free world!
But these politicians don’t care as long as they keep their place in power, that’s untill a Nuclear Weapon is falling on everyone’s heads.
The world as needed a world leader like President Trump to step forward and take these radicals head on, he looked at a world map, looks for the counties that are being run by Dictatorship governments, that treat their people very badly, it’s not that he had even try to hide what he was going to do, even though he taking the out one at a time, putting the remaining ones on notice, to change their way are you are next! But when he’s getting success in achieving his goals, these some politicians come from under their slimy rocks, trying to undo everything he’s achieved, the Democrat politicians start on about the deaths of their service man and women, as though no casualties are ever lost in any historical war, but again they are not really worried about these heroes lost, they just become useful tools, to go after President Trump, the same for the European politicians, going on about him placing 15’000 troops on standby ready to invade Iran if needed, but don’t even mention the 80’000 USA troops stationed all over Europe, to protect them, totally beyond belief, hypocrisy in its finest hour on full display to the world! Go and give it to them President Trump, you are the man of our times! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇬🇧🇬🇧🇺🇸🇺🇸🇬🇧🇬🇧 The British government may not support your efforts, but the majority of the British people are fully at your side! God Bless the USA!

I certainly agree with Ernie. Well said Where was the outrage when Iran slaughtered 40,000 unarmed civilians. Where is the anger of the many Americans that Iran has killed through there terror groups Hamas Hezballouh Iran has preached kill Americans for 47 years and they were getting so close to a nuclear weapon
