January 1, Kinzinger Rails Against ‘Christian Taliban’
Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) responded to comments made by Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) in which she called for the end of the separation of church and state, likening her remarks to the Taliban.
“There is no difference between this and the Taliban,” Kinzinger tweeted. “We must [oppose] the Christian Taliban. I say this as a Christian.”
Kinzinger’s remark comes after Boebert said she is “tired” of the separation of church and state.
“I’m tired of this separation of church and state junk — that’s not in the Constitution. It was in a stinking letter, and it means nothing like they say it does,” Boebert said during a speech at the Cornerstone Christian Center in Basalt, CO.
“The reason we had so many overreaching regulations is because the church complied,” Boebert added. “The church is supposed to direct the government. The government is not supposed to direct the church. That is not how our Founding Fathers intended it.”

Anyone who has studied the lives and writings of our Founding Fathers knows that Ms. Boebert is absolutely correct about the concept of “separation of Church and State”. President Jefferson used the term “wall of separation” between church and state in a letter to the Danbury Baptist Association after they asked him if the government was planning on establishing a religion. His answer only applied to the fact that the government had no plans to do so. Meanwhile, Mr. Kinzinger’s statement just shows his ignorance of both Christianity and the Taliban, as they are nowhere near similar in beliefs or in behavior.

You may want to educate yourself and read “The Christian Life and Character of the Civil Institutions of the United States” by Benjamin F. Morris.

All of Boebert’s comments were CORRECT! “Separation of church and state” DOES NOT APPEAR anywhere in the Constitution. Hugo Black, SCOTUS justice and KKK member, got the phrase from a letter which Thomas Jefferson wrote. Jefferson was in France when the Constitution was written and had ZERO to do with it. What the phrase means, even based on the complete Jefferson letter, is that there can be no NATIONAL denomination. Each colony had a specific denomination; some were Anglican, Catholic, Baptist, etc. so obviously Jefferson wasn’t calling for NO relationship with a “church.” BTW Hugo Black, KKK member, issued this ruling to punish a Catholic organization because his Klan buddies hate Catholics almost as much as Jews and balcks!

I am not amazed anymore at the stupidity of voters in America that elect these idiots! All this misinterpretation is a result of the liberal teaching in public schools, college! We must teach love America first, American History! How bad socialism, communism is and why we stand for life, liberty, pursuit of happiness, law and order, strong boarders, “GOD”, (the bible should be taught in all public schools as it was in the beginning of this country}, capital punishment, strong military, only citizens of America and its territories, non felons can vote! ANYONE Casting” lots” of illegal votes and found guilty must be executed after being found guilty of treason on PPV!! We must hold to the constitution as written and or AMENDED! Federal capital punishment that no judge can overturn!! Protect “LIFE”! Abortion is the term Satan gave us that replaces the word “MURDER”!! Strong enforcement of gun laws that supports legal gun owners, and take away guns from any felon, mental illness, domestic abuse, anyone that left a job for mental illness, 21 before buying a gun! Here is where we need a Federal Capital Punishment law! Murder first degree, shooting ,wounding or killing any law enforcement person while committing any crime, any child while committing a crime including a stray bullet!!! The Supreme Court at nine members no matter if it is liberal or conservative (which “should make no difference} because it is a translator ,interpreter not a political party rep!

1st of all neither one of them know what the 1st Amendment says about church and state. The comment of separation between church and state refers to a comment made by Thomas Jefferson and become some sort of rule by a supreme court ruling way way back when. The 1s Amendment says, ” make no “laws” respecting an establishment of religion or prohibit the free exercise thereof, ……” So simply having a religious symbol on government property doesn’t constitute establishing a law respecting One religion. To be more precise a specific sect of a religion.
Do you see anything about separation……? The Fathers of the constitution feared a state governed by religion like The Church of England when the framed the constitution or in current times how the Muslim religious leaders control the government in Afghanistan (thanks to Joe Biden) and Iran thanks to (Jimmy Carter.)
So the term separation of church and state has been used as a tool of marxist/communist/progressive to destroy religion in America. Religion offers moral guidance and a separate view from the governments’ views.
