  • Federal lawmakers are stepping in where they see justice ignored.

Congressman Jim Jordan is investigating whether a Virginia prosecutor ignored threats against former Trump official Stephen Miller. Flyers showing Miller’s face and home address appeared in Arlington, Virginia, and there are claims that activist Barbara Wien broke anti-doxing laws.

The prosecutor, Parisa Dehghani-Tafti, allegedly agreed with Wien’s legal team to keep state police from sharing some details with the FBI. She faces accusations of allowing political bias to influence her response to possible intimidation of Miller and his wife at home.

“Your unmistakably partisan actions suggest that you are willing to not only ignore threats of political violence against those with whom you disagree, but will actively side with those making the threats,” Jordan wrote in a letter to Dehghani-Tafti.

Jordan has demanded all records and communications on the case, including anything linked to Stephen Miller, his wife, or the activist in question. The prosecutor has until November 27 to respond to Congress.

When officials don’t protect families from threats, Congress needs answers. Our communities expect equal treatment under the law, no matter politics.
