Iranian security forces have killed at least 490 protesters as demonstrations grow across the country.

About 10,600 people have been detained since protests began, according to a human rights agency.

Out of 538 reported deaths, 48 were members of security forces and the rest were protestors fighting for change.

“There are reports of protesters getting shot in the head.”

The Iranian government has not released the total number of casualties so far.
