Good morning Middle Americans,
Democrats have been talking about it for three years, ever since he was elected, today House Democrat will vote to impeach President Trump. This will be only the third time in American history that the House of Representatives has sent articles of impeachment to the Senate for a trial. And based on the letter that President Trump sent House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, he’s not very happy about the way the process has been handled. We included a link to the letter and the New York Time’s fact check of what the president wrote to Pelosi.
Also today, we have an incredibly tragic story of a California groom who was beat to death at his own wedding. The suspects crashed the party and wanted alcohol, when the groom asked them to leave, two brothers attacked him, and left him to die.
Finally – President Trump should have something besides his poll numbers to brag about when he holds a rally in Michigan tonight. Ford is investing more than a billion dollars in Detroit creating thousands of jobs.

Trump on the Brink of Impeachment
(Politico) – The House is set to vote on Wednesday to impeach Donald Trump for abusing his power and obstructing congressional investigations, labeling the president a threat to national security and recommending his removal from office.
With the votes, which are expected to fall largely along party lines, Trump will become just the third president to be impeached — after Andrew Johnson in 1868 and Bill Clinton in 1998. He likely will also become the first to campaign for reelection after facing the House’s ultimate punishment.

(New York Times) – We fact-checked President Trump’s rambling and angry letter to Speaker Nancy Pelosi in which he expressed his “most powerful protest” against the impeachment process. The House is expected to vote on two articles of impeachment against Mr. Trump on Wednesday.

California Groom Killed by Wedding Crashers
(NBC News) – A California groom was murdered by two wedding crashers, according to police and the family.
Joe Melgoza, 30, died Sunday morning, the day after his wedding, from blunt head trauma in Chino, California, about 30 miles east of Los Angeles.
Chino police discovered Melgoza after being called to a home regarding a fight at around 2:20 a.m. Sunday morning.
The family told NBC Los Angeles that two men came uninvited to the wedding reception that began Saturday evening and extended into Sunday morning in the backyard of the bride’s sister’s home. The men were asked to leave.

Ford to Add 3,000 Jobs In Detroit, Invest $1.45 Billion
(CNBC) – Ford Motor Co. is adding 3,000 jobs at two factories in the Detroit area and investing $1.45 billion to build new pickup trucks, SUVs, and electric and autonomous vehicles.
The company said Tuesday that about $750 million will go to the Michigan Assembly Plant in the Detroit suburb of Wayne, where 2,700 jobs will be added during the next three years.

As you may know, the Constitution gives the House of Representatives the sole power to impeach the president. Once a president is impeached by the House of Representatives, the Senate has the sole power to legally try the president and, if convicted, remove the president from office.The House of Representatives recently voted on articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump.
