January 1, Hochul Responds to Prison Officer Shortage by Releasing Inmates

Hey friends, I’m Wyatt Porter here to break this down for you.

So here’s the scoop: New York’s Democrat Governor, Kathy Hochul, is making some pretty troubling moves. She’s letting a lot of prisoners out of jail, and you won’t believe why. First, she went and fired thousands of prison guards who were just trying to keep everyone safe. Now there aren’t enough guards left, and she’s saying that’s why she has to let the convicts go free. Imagine that!

A big boss from New York’s prison department sent out a memo telling prisons to start figuring out which inmates can go home early. All this because there aren’t enough guards. They fired them, and now they’re using that as an excuse to let bad guys walk. It just doesn’t make sense.

Governor Hochul is trying to act like she cares about everyone’s safety, but you gotta wonder—if she did, why fire all those guards in the first place? Isn’t the safety of law-abiding citizens what’s most important here?

People are not happy, especially some strong voices like Rep. Mike Lawler from New York. He says what Hochul is doing puts everyone at risk. We shouldn’t be making decisions that help criminals instead of looking out for good folks.

There’s even talk that Hochul made her move to keep her buddies in the state government happy, folks that want these kinds of pro-criminal policies. It’s really tough for people trying to keep their neighborhoods safe when leaders make choices like this.

So, friends, what’s needed in places like New York—and all over America—are leaders who focus on protecting regular folks and tackling the tough problems, not giving in to easy fixes and putting everyone at risk.

Let’s keep hoping for better, America. Stay safe out there!

Wyatt Matters!

Governor Kathy Hochul is letting many prisoners out of jail in New York, which is causing a lot of concern. She fired a lot of prison guards, and now there aren’t enough to keep things in order. Because of that, a big boss in the prison department is telling prisons to decide which inmates can be freed early. It’s confusing because it seems like firing the guards is being used as a reason to release prisoners, and that doesn’t help keep people safe.

Many people are upset about these decisions, including Rep. Mike Lawler from New York. He believes that these actions are putting everyone in danger. Instead of focusing on protecting law-abiding citizens, it feels like the decisions are favoring those who break the law. People in New York deserve leaders who make choices to keep them safe, not ones that might make their neighborhoods less secure.

Some think Governor Hochul is making these choices to satisfy certain people in the government who support these kinds of policies. It’s hard for people who want to keep their communities safe when leaders focus on making their friends happy instead of doing what’s best for everyone. What’s needed are leaders committed to protecting regular folks and facing tough challenges head-on, without risking everyone’s safety. Let’s hope for better days and safer choices in the future.

Too bad. NY deserves it. Criminal protecting state. NYC prosecutes heros who try to help stop criminals. They will turn loose prisoners and at the same time try to jail Penny for holding down a trouble maker,
