January 1, Greene Spars with CNN: ‘You’re a Liar’
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) exchanged verbal jabs with CNN’s Jim Acosta over questions about her text messages in the aftermath of Jan. 6, 2021.
Greene shared a video on Twitter, showing Acosta walking with her outside the Capitol, asking if she remembered calling House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) a traitor.
“You know Jim, you have a show, and, in all fairness, you try to present this image of me to your viewers and it’s just really not correct,” Greene says in the video.
Acosta then says he’s “just trying to get some answers.” The CNN anchor asks Greene if she sent “a text in asking for the president to declare martial law.”
“I don’t recall those being my text messages,” Greene responded.
“Why don’t you be honest?” Acosta asked.
“You’re just another one of those liars on television,” Greene said. “And people hate it, they hate it. They can’t stand the liars on television.”
“You’re lying. You’re a liar. You know why people don’t like you?” Greene asked. “Because you’re a liar. Why do you want to lie on television for your viewers?”
Acosta responded to Greene’s tweet, writing “The congresswoman doesn’t recall if it’s her text but she defends it.”

Trump has the far right believing that the people who report the news are all liars, let’s start with Greene, you said the there was no such thing as the Holocaust and the Sandy Hook School shooting was fake and let’s not forget that the Democrats are pedophiles, so refresh that pea between your ears you call a brain those are all LIES, so if you have to side track the question you were asked by Mr. Acosta makes you a liar or a traitor. Any politician who needs to follow a master to make America great again (don’t do anyone any favors) if starting by taking peoples right to vote away, or taking a woman,s rights away is the start of making it better you should probably quit now, because the only signal I’m getting from this sounds more like your trying to turn the country into a Russian, China, N.Korea, etc. take your pick. I wouldn’t be surprised if Trump had something to do with the Russian invasion of Ukraine knowing the love affair he has with Putin. Who knows maybe Putin can even help Trump get elected this time around. Here’s a message for all women if you vote for a republican after what the just passed, don’t complain.

The Liberals always attack the Conservatives they fear the most. Greene is a threat to their dirty agendas, so is Tucker Carlson, Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, and of course, Donald Trump. Liberals hit hard against anyone who dares to call them out, and accuse their targets of everything the Left is actually guilty of. At this point, after all the American People have suffered since the theft of the election, the Liberal tactics have lost their sting and effectiveness as Conservatives fight back and people of all political leanings are beginning to see through the lies.

These so called journalists are so transparent they do not deserve responses to their gotcha questions. Acosta did this kind of thing to Donald Trump for four years and there are still idiots who believe him. So sad what we have become since truth has gone out of style on television.
