January 1, Greene a ‘Democrat or an Idiot,’ Fellow Republican Says
After being Twitter suspended her personal account, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) had another social media scuffle, this time with fellow conservative Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX), who said she “might be an idiot” on Instagram.
Crenshaw, a former Navy Seal known for his signature eye patch, hit back Greene after she claimed he was hurting the right-wing brand following an interview he had with Fox News.
Greene took issue with Crenshaw’s insistence that President Joe Biden needed to get the pandemic under control.
“So what the federal government should be doing, again, is using their FEMA resources to bolster a lot of these testing sites, open up new testing sites,” he told Fox.
Greene took to Instagram to address Crenshaw, saying FEMA shouldn’t be used to set up test sites for “sneezes, coughs, and runny noses.”
“Hey, Marjorie, if suggesting we should follow Trump[‘s] policy instead of Biden mandates makes you mad, then you might be a Democrat – or just an idiot,” Crenshaw replied.
