January 1, GOP Opens Epstein Files, Promises Answers Soon
Wyatt’s Take
- House Republicans shared the first batch of Epstein documents.
- The files mostly confirm what was already public knowledge.
- Leaders say more evidence and answers are coming.
House Republicans have started sharing files tied to Jeffrey Epstein, but much of this batch had been seen before. Government officials say more pages and deeper details will follow.
Congress received nearly 34,000 pages after demanding them from the Justice Department. It took lawmakers some time to sort through the stack.
“This is the most thorough investigation into Epstein and [Ghislaine] Maxwell to date, and we are getting results,” shared House Oversight Chairman James Comer during a committee meeting. He explained the investigation involved questioning big names like Bill Barr and reviewing stacks of documents.
There are still sharp questions about the so-called client list, but no list has turned up so far according to leaders. Lawmakers claim they’ll shield victims’ identities and keep any criminal cases from being harmed by the process.
Everyday Americans deserve to know the truth about such dark scandals, and that means keeping pressure on our leaders to make everything public.

I thought that if the DOJ found evidence of criminal acts, they would have acted on that by now.
What is the Epstein list? Is it like my old personal phone book. Surely it’s not Epstein’s private list of pedophiles and rapists. Do we know what a person’s name on some list actually tells us about that person?
