Good Morning Middle Americans!

Most people are looking forward to the weekend. One of the those people is probably not Rudy Giuliani. Two of his associates were arrested yesterday on campaign finance charges at the airport with one-way tickets out of the country. The arrest came just hours after Giuliani and the two men had lunch at Trump hotel.  

We are also learning this morning about that the White House whistleblower may have worked with Joe Biden while he was Vice President. And is Chelsea Clinton gearing up for a run for Congress?

2 Giuliani Associates Connected to Ukraine Probe Arrested 

(CBS News) – Federal prosecutors say two Florida businessmen tied to Rudy Giuliani leveraged a flurry of GOP political donations in a campaign to force the removal of U.S. ambassador to Ukraine as part of a conspiracy with an unnamed Ukrainian official who wanted her gone. An indictment unsealed Thursday against Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman alleges their push to oust Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch was aided by laundered foreign money.

Report: Biden Had Ties to White House Whistleblower

(Washington Examiner) – The 2020 Democratic candidate with whom the CIA whistleblower had a “professional” tie is Joe Biden, according to intelligence officers and former White House officials.

Lawyers for the whistleblower said he had worked only “in the executive branch.” The Washington Examiner has established that he is a career CIA analyst who was detailed to the National Security Council at the White House and has since left. On Sept. 26, the New York Times reported that he was a CIA officer. On Oct. 4, the newspaper added that he “was detailed to the National Security Council at one point.”

Chelsea Clinton for Congress?

(The Daily News) – Suburban New York Democrats want the Clinton machine back in Congress.

Top officials in the Westchester County Democratic Party were pitching Chelsea Clinton Wednesday on launching a 2020 bid for Nita Lowey’s seat in light of the longtime congresswoman’s retirement announcement, according to a party source familiar with the matter.
