January 1, Fox Analyst Claims Trump Case Held to Double Standard, Cites Clinton’s Untouched Offenses

Fox News legal analyst Gregg Jarrett has accused Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg of holding the case against former President Donald Trump to a “different” standard. He cites the lack of prosecution towards former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s campaign, which was involved in the now-discredited Steele Dossier.

Trump’s trial over a $130,000 payout to porn star Stormy Daniels as part of a confidentiality agreement during his successful presidential campaign starts Monday. Comparing this case to Clinton’s, Jarrett said on “Fox and Friends,” “Hillary Clinton did pretty much the same thing.”

He went on to explain, “She, too, used a lawyer to secretly pay for the phony Steele Dossier and booking it as legal expenses. She was fined by the FEC, but she wasn’t prosecuted and neither was Barack Obama, even though he was fined a whopping $375,000 for hiding donors and keeping illegal contributions.”

Jarrett added, “But, if your last name is Trump, the standard of justice is completely different and turned on its head.”

He also criticized the expanded gag order imposed by Judge Juan Merchan on April 1, after Trump criticized the judge and his daughter on Truth Social.

Furthermore, Jarrett called Bragg’s case against Trump a “tangled, torturous prosecution” that had already been investigated by the federal government and resolved without any charges or fines. He stated, “[Bragg] had to attach it to a supposed election law violation, well it’s not. Federal Election Commission investigated, and they said this is perfectly legal. It is not a campaign donation.”

He continued, “The DOJ concluded there is no crime here. But, you know, enter Alvin Bragg who is charging under federal law even though he is a local prosecutor and has no jurisdiction and authority to do that. But the judge is letting him get away with it.”

If no one will stop these criminals, what do we need judges for. Don’t they know the law, and can we prosecute them, or do we wait for them to start arresting and murdering every one like Nazis did in 1939. We are supposed to be going forward. Democrats appear to be reversing time. Trump might be self serving, but he would at least observe the proper rules for the people at large.

Too bad our justice system is corrupt. The DOJ should just denounce the trial and end the waste of time and our money.

Why does anyone want toor have a reason to believe a pornstar prostitute while she does not have any proof of an intimate relationship? Also trump gave her money to get out of her business. Trump has helped millions. Including beauty queens. Lawyers accountants bankers and realtors are responsible for decisions on the value of properties. Trump has no time to observe the dollar flow. Trump has no time to determine the value of a building. Relying on experts in each field is how he gains information on the value of buildings. If I were Trump I would sue everyone.

Hopefully the voters in those areas that Trump is being persecuted are smart enough and HONEST enough to admit that the trials are political persecution. Try to name an honest democrat politician OTHER THAN the ones who have left the party. Name one then look at their record. PITIFUL!!!!
