January 1, Florida Rep’s Courageous Stand: New Bill Targets Unseen Threats

Published

Republican Representative Vern Buchanan of Florida has taken a decisive action for the safety of American citizens. He introduced a bill that aims to deport and permanently ban any illegal immigrant convicted of sexual assault from the United States.

The legislation, appropriately named the “Protecting Our Communities from Sexual Predators Act,” mandates the Attorney General to take into custody any illegal alien who commits sexual assault. It further seeks to establish in law that anyone guilty of such a crime is immediately deportable and permanently barred from reentering the U.S.

Earlier this year, an incident occurred close to Buchanan’s district that underscored the urgent need for such legislation. An illegal immigrant was arrested on charges of raping a woman, a shocking crime that occurred in our community.

“Illegal aliens who sexually assault and rape American citizens have absolutely no place in our society,” Buchanan stated emphatically. He expressed his disbelief that “illegal immigrants who commit sexual assault are not immediately eligible for deportation,” emphasizing the necessity of this “commonsense legislation” to protect American communities from “dangerous and deranged predators.”

The bill has garnered support from other Republicans, including Florida Rep. Byron Donalds and California Rep. Darrell Issa, who are original cosponsors. Donalds, referring to a recent case in Southwest Florida where a local was sexually assaulted by an illegal alien, criticized the “perilous consequences of Joe Biden’s open border crime wave.”

Donalds expressed his solidarity with Buchanan, stating, “I stand with Rep. Buchanan to ensure that all illegal aliens who have been convicted of sexual assault are deemed immediately deportable.” He further stressed the need to put an end to these “shocking and completely avoidable crimes.”

The legislation has also received endorsement from NumbersUSA, a group that advocates for lower immigration levels. This bill is a critical step towards ensuring the safety of our communities and holding criminals accountable for their actions. It is a testament to the commitment of our elected officials to protect American citizens from harm.

Ok so now we have a politician who wants to deport illegals who commit sexual assault and deny them from entry again into our county.
I think they should serve their sentence here before ship them out. And how will we prevent them from reentry.? It seems we just let everyone in without ny vetting and the “getaways”
don’t get caught 7ntil they commit another crime.

Democrats will all vote against it because a little rape is not more important than a lot of power.

Why only sexual assault? An illegal who commits any crime should be immediately deported and barred from returning. They’ve already broken the law by entering illegally, but since that is no longer considered a federal crime, I guess the next best we can do is deport for any subsequent crime. However, the no-return won’t be enforced any time soon, so all we would be doing is buying a few days or weeks of less crime until the same illegal jumps the border again.

For the love of God, why wait for a sexual crime to be commited in the first place? ANYONE in this country illegally, needs to be deported immediately! What good are new laws, if the ones we already have are not enforced? Joe Bidan should be charged with aiding and abetting, human trafficking, misuse of taxpayer money and TREASON!!!

“…mandates the Attorney General to take into custody any illegal alien who commits sexual assault.” – It should include a clause that failure to do so shall result in the Attorney General being made both civilly and criminally liable.

THEY SHOULD BE DEPORTED AND BANNED FOR ANY FELONY CRIME, NOT JUST SEXUAL ASSAULT.
