January 1, Federal Agent Fires in Minneapolis Standoff

Wyatt’s Take
- DHS confirms agent shot in defense during Minneapolis raid.
- Suspect armed with 9mm handgun resisted arrest violently.
- Incident follows days of tense protests in the city.
The Department of Homeland Security says the agent who fired his weapon in Minneapolis was acting in self-defense. They were after an illegal alien wanted for a violent crime.
According to officials, the suspect came at Border Patrol agents with a semiautomatic handgun. The officers tried to take his gun, but he fought back hard.
A photo shared by DHS proves the 9mm handgun was at the scene where the shooting happened.
The wounded man later died from his injuries.
This event happened during a tense week in Minneapolis, with protests flare up after police shot Renee Good, who allegedly drove her car into an agent.
These moments show the tough reality law enforcement faces on the streets.
Keep your family informed and aware. Don’t let big city chaos spread unnoticed.

Trump should authorize every agent to use whatever degree of force that agent deems necessary to protect himself and his fellow agents.

I agree. These people are not supposed to be here anyway. I remember a remark that President Trump made in his first term, he said we’re not getting the best and brightest. He was absolutely correct. We’re getting criminals and the dregs of other countries. Get them OUT of our country.

Come at a cop with a gun? What do you think would happen?

Walz and Frei’s failure to provide law enforcement and guard support lowers the threshold for self protective lethal force by ICE agents. With inadequate support in both lethal self protection deaths there was no margin of safety. With more support from Walz and Frei these dangerous rioters would likely be alive. Walz and Frei have blood on their hands just like they had in the Floyd riots.
Thanks for calling a riot a riot.

A lot to unpack. Biden Administration lures in 10 Million unvetted Illegal Aliens and sprinkles them throughout the country for political reasons. Democrat Sanctuary Policies prevent DHS from accessing the worst of the worst at appropriate safer sites for removal, that is jails, police stations, and courts when final deportation orders exist, for political reasons and misplaced feelings of compassion. This goes so far as to use the courts to block and return Illegals even known to have rap sheets and criminal gang ties?
Because of these obstacles, DHS, ICE and Border Patrol, are forced to attempt targeted apprehensions in various parts of the country. Minnesota draws attention as a particular hotbed of Illegals and widespread fraud in a massive operation. Agents often wearing masks in an effort to avoid doxing and the resulting threats to the agents and their families. Politicians and other local and outside agitators with questionable funding whip up the populace to oppose the apprehensions, encouraging serious active opposition. This is done with particularly slanted and often untruthful rhetoric using intentionally the most inflammatory language. No surprise, some activists cross into physical and unlawful confrontations to impede apprehensions which, so far in the vast majority of cases, have been targeted to illegals with various crimes beyond simply crossing the border unlawfully. Renee Good is a prime example of a rapid series of bad decisions leading to her death.
Now Alex Pretti. Likely in a downward spiral following a recent divorce? Had been advised not to take action or do anything stupid by his family. He comes to protest and steps into a confrontation between numerous armed Border Patrol agents and another protestor. He is armed, has no ID as required by his concealed carry permit, and gets physical. When it is observed he is armed in the melee of the moment, it appears an agent takes the firearm. Pretti is shot likely by an agent thinking Pretti was drawing his pistol. Upon hearing the shot additional shots are made to stop the threat. Again a very rapidly occurring series of bad decisions leading to a death. The firearm is a higher end semiautomatic loaded with a full magazine. Two other loaded magazines are on his person, about 30 bullets? Was this a suicide by cop scenario or just an escalating series of mistakes and bad decisions made in an emotionally charged moment? Doubt it will ever be known.
What is sure, many of the decisions and actions leading to these two deaths way preceded the immediate mistakes, bad decisions, and stupid actions of the tense moments leading to the shots being fired.
What should happen is the deportations should be allowed to he done via normal and safer procedures. Politicians and activists should be restricted to regular lawful protests and the courts or appropriate legislators. Sadly, unlikely to happen. Yes, these removals are unseemly. The cause is not in this moment it goes back years.

Indeed, the “cause for this moment” goes back to the illegal election and inauguration of the Indonesian fraud, in 2008; he is THE ONE who unleashed this treasonous havoc on the USA! Past time for AG Bondi to STOP sitting on her thumbs and take this bastard down and OUT!!

Yes, Martial Law limited to this area; clean out the hornet’s nest quickly and effectively. When done there, move on to the next infected area – -probably California.

The entire city of Minneapolis is out of control and needs to be on federal lockdown. All protesters who are or have been involved in any obstruction of justice (blocking streets or harassing ICE) should be thrown in jail.
