January 1, “Dystopian Clown”: Obama Mocked Over New Initiative
Former President Barack Obama announced that his foundation was launching a new initiative to combat the spread of misinformation, which critics quickly derided for its irony.
“In recent years, we’ve seen how quickly disinformation spreads, especially on social media. This has created real challenges for our democracy,” Obama wrote in the announcement.
“Part of the reason it’s hard to bring about change is because we live in a media environment that elevates falsehoods as much as truths, and divides people as much as it brings them together,” he continued.
“Through the [Obama Foundation], we’re working to empower and equip emerging leaders to tackle issues like the spread of disinformation.”
Critics quickly took hold of Obama’s announcement, with many pointing to the discredited “Russiagate” story.
Journalist Glenn Greenwald posted a simple screenshot in response to Obama’s tweet, showing a Politico article from 2020 titled “Hunter Biden story is Russian disinfo, dozens of former intel officials say.”
“More dystopian clown world genre,” wrote Jordan Schachtel, a conservative journalist.
“I’m sure there’s no way this will ever be abused and turn into a professional leftist activist organization meant to deplatform conservatives and libertarians,” quipped Austin Petersen, a conservative radio host.

Obama and his worshipers in the MSM are totally focused on distracting from Obama on his celebrating ten years of Obamacare. For ten years, the MSM has refused to confront him about his huge lie to the nation: “If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor. Period. If you like your healthcare plan, you can keep your healthcare plan. Period.”
If Obama said the sun did not come up today, the MSM would scream it was true – and that people who say they see a bright light in the sky are evil, racist, anti science Trump supporters.
For ten years, MSM gushing coverage about the success of Obamacare are like stories that proclaim: “Titanic! Success! People Arrive In New York!” Just no mention that the ship sank, more than half the people died, etc. Kind of a textbook example of dis-information.

If anyone, and yes I mean Dumocrats too, believes the spew coming out of Mr. Nobama and his newly formed ‘Initiative’ concerning his interest in curbing disinformation in the press and elsewhere, they are on a vacation from reality – usually called a trip. In this case, the trip is an overdose of LSD.
