January 1, Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis: A Match Made in GOP Heaven?

Published

on

According to a recent Page Six report, some insiders in Trumpworld are urging former President Donald Trump to choose Florida Governor Ron DeSantis as his running mate for the 2024 GOP presidential race.

Despite Trump currently leading DeSantis in the polls, supporters of the former president believe that making DeSantis the Vice President would bring “youthful conservative vigor” to the ticket, something that President Biden lacks.

Additionally, DeSantis would bring in big money to the campaign. However, it’s important to note that Trump has not yet made any final decisions on his running mate.

Although some donors are pushing for a partnership between the two, DeSantis is reportedly more interested in testing the waters and raising money for a potential presidential run in 2028, with or without Trump.

A recent poll showed that 58% of potential Republican primary voters would support Trump, while only about 21% would pick DeSantis.

Trump, who has previously expressed disappointment with DeSantis, told Greg Kelly on Newsmax that he was “very down on him” because of DeSantis’ lack of loyalty.

However, Trump’s recent statements to his friends suggest that he has already secured the Republican nomination and that DeSantis is “falling like a rock.”

While a potential Trump-DeSantis partnership for the 2024 presidential race is still uncertain, it’s clear that both politicians have strong support from their respective followers. It remains to be seen whether or not they will join forces or compete against each other in the future.

I must say that the recent news about Donald Trump potentially choosing Ron DeSantis as his running mate for the 2024 presidential race is intriguing.

On the one hand, DeSantis has shown himself to be a strong conservative leader who prioritizes limited government and individual rights. On the other hand, Trump is a proven businessman and political outsider who has a strong base of supporters.

The idea of Trump choosing DeSantis as his running mate raises some questions. Is this a strategic move to secure the Republican nomination and defeat President Biden in the 2024 presidential race? Or is it a power play to keep DeSantis from challenging Trump in the future?

It’s too early to say for sure, but one thing is certain: the potential partnership between Trump and DeSantis is a force to be reckoned with.

The Republican Party needs a strong leader who can prioritize individual freedom and personal responsibility while also appealing to a diverse base of supporters. Whether or not that leader is Trump or DeSantis remains to be seen, but I believe that a partnership between the two could lead to a GOP victory in 2024.

If there’s one thing we need right now, it’s a strong and united Republican Party. Whether or not Trump chooses DeSantis as his running mate, I will be watching closely and rooting for a conservative victory in 2024.

I would love nothing more then to seer a Trump DeSantis ticket. It would keep the
WH in the hands of the Republicans for 12 years plenty of time to fix all the errors that Biden has made and will continue to make until the end of his presidency. IN fact from my point of view, this could be the strongest ticket ever. I just hope these two leaders can get past their ego’s and do what is best for the country

Unless one of them moves from Florida, a Trump-De Santis ticket is
not possible. It is unconstitutional. Both candidates cannot receive the EV of that state.
Florida is far too important to sacrfice the EV for President or VP. Ron should waut until
    2028
