  • Five illegal immigrants with violent records caught by DHS.
  • Crimes include murder and child sexual abuse.
  • Officials promise law and order for American families.

The Department of Homeland Security has arrested five illegal immigrants who were convicted of violent and disturbing crimes. Offenses range from murder to child sexual abuse, rocking communities that want safety for their families.

“These are not minor offenses. These are predators, abusers and murderers who should have never been in our country in the first place,” said Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin.

Arrests included Julio Celaya-Soto, an El Salvador national convicted of murder in North Carolina, and Lazaro Vladimir Martinez-Argundi, a Cuban citizen with convictions for distributing child sexual abuse material in Michigan. Others arrested were Jose Angel Garcia-Espino of Mexico, convicted of assault in Texas; Miguel Angel Salmeron-Granados from El Salvador for sexual abuse of a child in New York; and Guadalupe Cuevas-Sotelo of Mexico, linked to sexual abuse and attempted rape in Utah.

“Under President Trump and Secretary Noem, DHS is delivering on its promise to restore law and order and defend American families. If you are in this country illegally and have harmed others — your days here are numbered.”

ICE agents report rising arrests even as some politicians and rioters push back against enforcement efforts. Despite legal challenges, the agency says protecting law-abiding Americans remains a top priority.

When government leaders put American safety above political games, families in the heartland can breathe a little easier.
