January 1, Democratic Senator Says Trump is Proof America Is in Its ‘Angry Teenage Years’
Senator Elissa Slotkin from Michigan had some pretty bold things to say on TV. She thinks President Trump’s re-election shows our country is like a teenager going through tough times. Slotkin, a Democrat, went on “The View” to chat about politics. She compared the political scene to dealing with teens whose brains aren’t fully grown.
She said America, at 250 years old, is still kind of young. Slotkin compared our nation’s ups and downs to teenage mood swings, where kids are happy one minute and mad the next. She believes it’s up to Democrats to help the country get through these “teenage years” safely.
When asked if she was talking about Trump, Slotkin said no. She was talking about the people who voted him back in, and how the country is swinging like a pendulum from one side to the other. She claims nobody thinks this is normal.
slotkin also shared with NBC’s “Meet the Press” that Democrats are having a hard time keeping up. She admitted Trump and the Republicans have been keeping them on their toes since the election.
But here’s the thing: folks who support President Trump have a different view. They see him as a fighter for American values, someone who puts America first and stands up against big government. They think his re-election is a sign that many people want to see a different kind of leadership, one that respects freedom and stands strong against the elites in Washington.
For many in the right-wing camp, Slotkin’s comments just sound like more of the same from Democrats who can’t understand why Trump’s message resonates with so many Americans. They believe that Trump represents a movement that wants real change, not just talk.
So, while Slotkin sees a troubled teen in the mirror, a lot of folks see a country that’s finding its strength.

You are so right. Problem is the ignorant and the brainwashed and the prejudiced, because they have a stake in the game.i.e. Educated people who like many teachers and school officials who are cornered by critters meaner than they are. My mother was a teacher who was coerced into joining the NEA by the superintendent who controlled what school she and all of the others got to teach at. A school close to home or all the way across the county. In a small rural area this supt. knows who campaigns and votes against him and who supports. This type of power starts in the local level and climbs and climbs, etc.

Slotkin needs to check herself. The American people are not teenagers and she insults our intelligence. We, the hard working American citizens are tired of working hard to barely get by while politicians waist money, give our money to illegals and criminals. Democrats supported the rioting and burning down businesses and we remembered it all when we went to the polls. We are tired of crooked politicians becoming millionaires at our expense. We want Americans and our veterines to be the #1 priority and for government to get out of the way of working people and small businesses.

So many people in the large blue cites, which are largely black contolled, grew up in government housing, supported and subsidized by some form of welfare, get mortgages which come at high percentage of minority susidized discounts, etc., etc., etc., are all joined at the hip, brainwashed by such as NAACP, manipulated by media such as CNN and MSNBC, whose democrat reporters such as don sour lemon, ratchit madcow ( rachel madow ) racist jerks on THE View such as whopeed and joyless behard, etc.,and thus the tree of humanity continues to expand. I saw at a hotel on the beach in the parking lot a group of DeKalb County, GA. owned vehicles parked there. This is about 200 miles from their metro Atlanta county. Figure $ .50 per mile per vehicle, plus food expense, plus beach front hotel fees and whatever else. All there for a ? learning retreat? Whatever they all went to the beach for, on county business, could have been more efficiently handled in their county. Government waste! Perks of the job, etc. More traffic congestion, spreading the money, etc.

A glittering example of colossal ignorance, who had not been in congress long enough to understand that you don’t try to go up against a very good speech by a very good president, after her party made fools of themselves by the way they behaved during that speech. What a sorry mess they made of themselves, and then expected this newbie to make excuses for their behavior. IMO, they set her up!

She is wearing the bridle which reins are controlled by the democrats. If you are not for them then you are the enemy. Her opinions have been formulated by her family, environment and woke schools. She came out of high school and college as a democrat.
