Bunnie Xo just pulled back the curtain on the brutal physical toll her divorce from country star Jelly Roll took on her body and mind. And it’s worse than anyone knew.

During an appearance on “Open Book with Jenna Bush Hager,” the podcast host didn’t sugarcoat what heartbreak did to her.

“There were moments where my team had to pick me up off the floor and get me IVs because I wasn’t eating,” Bunnie revealed.

“I was eating baby food to get by, you know. I lost 20 pounds because of heartbreak.”

The marriage lasted nearly 10 years before Jelly Roll filed for divorce on May 18, listing their separation date as May 9. The two first crossed paths back in 2015 when Bunnie, then working in the adult industry, met the rising star at a Vegas concert. They eloped just a year later.

By July, the divorce was finalized — and Bunnie wasn’t about to stay quiet.

Shortly after the split went public, she used her podcast platform to share intimate details of what went wrong. She later scrubbed that episode from YouTube, but the damage was done. The internet had already gotten its fill.

“Oh, everybody loves to watch a train wreck. So, I mean, yeah, I was not going to participate in that circus,” she told Hager.

“I am my own person. I stand on my own two feet, even alongside my ex-husband.”

“I was still my own entity and had my own brand aside from him. So, yeah, I don’t see why I couldn’t continue to stand on my own two feet and not have to dwell in that space of emotion.”

Now, Bunnie says she’s entered a new chapter — one where putting herself first isn’t just allowed, it’s required. And she’s done feeling guilty about it.

“It’s just pouring back into yourself,” she explained.

“It’s being selfish. It’s OK to be selfish. We as women feel like we need permission to be selfish, and we don’t. Tell your kids to go to bed and eat the freaking brownies without them, you know? Even if it’s something as small as that, we deserve to be selfish.”

“We deserve to have our own time, and we deserve to pour into each other. I’m having so much fun.”

But while Bunnie has embraced her newfound freedom, she’s quick to push back on assumptions that she’s out living some wild post-divorce fantasy. The reality, she says, is far more grounded.

“I mean, it’s been – you know, it’s so funny – people probably think I’m out here doing, like, ho activities, and I’m not,” she claimed.

“I swear to God. Literally, we’re at home playing – what’s it called? – Cards Against Humanity … We’re swimming, we’re working out. You guys see only what I put on social media.”

Still, in early July, Bunnie was spotted with a new, younger man. Video showed her kissing 24-year-old reality star Dylan Wolf in Nashville — at Jelly Roll’s own bar, no less.

She clarified that not every man she’s seen with is a romantic partner.

“I’m like, ‘Can your girl have some fun?’ I’m going – you guys are going to see me with multiple men, maybe even a couple women. You never know. Maybe even a freaking camel.”
