Wyatt’s Take

  • Christian brothers Amoon and Qaisar have spent 11 years in prison while their appeals are repeatedly delayed.
  • One prisoner named Shahzad is serving his fellow inmates and displaying Christ-like character despite his circumstances.
  • International legal teams are now pressing these cases at the United Nations to demand an immediate release.

Our legal teams recently met with four Christians currently waiting on death row in a Pakistani prison.

These men were sentenced to hang for their beliefs and have spent over a decade in squalid conditions.

Despite the threat of death, their morale remains high through daily prayer and Bible study behind bars.

One prisoner has even been given authority by guards to manage daily needs for other inmates.

Qaisar Ayub wrote a letter from his cell expressing his gratitude for the support coming from the West.

“Life in prison is not easy, but you all and love of our Jesus Christ kept us happy and satisfied.”

“We believe if God is on our side, who could stand against us?”

Global authorities continue to stall justice while these families lose years of life they can never recover.

The battle for their freedom is intensifying as time runs out for these devoted brothers.
