Wyatt’s Take

  • Anti-ICE protesters applauded nonsense at a campus rally.
  • Patriots used clever tricks to disrupt their protests.
  • Pro-ICE supporters pushed back, creating confusion.

A man calling himself Charlie Wilcox decided to see how easily anti-ICE protesters could be stirred up. Without saying anything meaningful, he grabbed a bullhorn at their campus rally and spoke in gibberish. Instead of thinking, the crowd clapped and cheered.

“We are in a place that is the place,” he declared, winning applause. “When I look at the uncooked salmon, I would love to eat the uncooked salmon,” he added, and they cheered even louder.

Soon, some realized they were being mocked and rushed to take the bullhorn away.

Elsewhere in Minneapolis, everyday Americans joined in disrupting anti-ICE events. They pretended to be protestors, munched on free snacks, and added to the confusion with whistles.

“Just to piss him off,” one participant said, clearly enjoying the pushback. The protesters didn’t know how to handle the chaos, with one person taunting, “You came to the whistle. That makes you a BIIITCH!”

This is what happens when everyday folks decide to use a little common sense and humor against loud activists.

If you want to see more of these moments, keep watching—people across the country are waking up and standing tall.

Wyatt Matters

Folks in the heartland know when something doesn’t add up. Our common sense keeps us grounded, even when activists try to stir confusion. Standing up, using a little wit, and not letting others push you around is what keeps Middle America strong.
