January 1, Breaking: Giuliani Faces Disbarment, NY Court Cites Deliberate Violations in Trump-Election Saga

Outspoken Trump ally Rudy Giuliani faced disbarment in New York on Tuesday for his work during the 2020 election. The New York Appellate Division, First Judicial Department, found that Giuliani, a former U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York and New York City mayor, “deliberately violated some of the most fundamental tenets of the legal profession” while working for former President Donald Trump in 2020. Giuliani was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1969.

The court stated, “Respondent flagrantly misused his prominent position as the personal attorney for former President Trump and his campaign.” They continued, “through which respondent repeatedly and intentionally made false statements, some of which were perjurious, to the federal court, state lawmakers, the public, the AGC, and this Court concerning the 2020 Presidential election.” They added that Giuliani “baselessly attacked and undermined the integrity of this country’s electoral process.”

The court also noted Giuliani’s contribution to the national strife following the 2020 Presidential election and his lack of repentance.

Giuliani’s license was previously suspended in June 2021 for making “demonstrably false and misleading statements” about the 2020 election. The court ruled that these statements “threaten the public interest and warrant interim suspension from the practice of law.”

In May, Giuliani was indicted in Arizona for allegedly attempting to “prevent the lawful transfer of the presidency” by submitting a document to Congress declaring Trump the winner of the election.

A spokesperson for Giuliani has not yet responded to requests for comment.

Nobody looks at what really happen with election. Like the FALSE waterman break that sent the observers home and the CROOKS kept counting ballots without observers. HOW DOES THAT SOUND LEGAL?

I dislike Trump but have to admit he is right that these are illegal lawfare attacks on his supporters. Clearly it is Bragg and Judge Engoron who violated the law, not Trump.

Democrats still playing games, even tho we ALL know the 2020 election was fixed. Biden didn’t win in 2020 and will not win in 2024. Is the fix in again?

That this decision would come out of a blue justice’s mouth is not surprising.
