January 1, BOMBSHELL Saudi Nuclear Deal Sends Democrats into Full Meltdown

Wyatt’s Take
- Trump just secured a massive nuclear energy partnership with Saudi Arabia — and Democrats are losing their minds over it, crying about proliferation while ignoring Iran’s actual threat.
- The agreement includes strict safeguards and verification protocols, but the left would rather see America isolated than build strong Middle East alliances that counter Iranian aggression.
- Democrats like Jamie Raskin are pushing wild conspiracy theories about Trump family finances instead of celebrating American energy leadership and strategic regional partnerships.
Capitol Hill erupted Wednesday after the White House announced a groundbreaking nuclear energy agreement with Saudi Arabia. Republicans celebrated the strategic alliance while Democrats spiraled into hysterics about Middle East security.
The Department of Energy released details on the deal, which provides U.S. nuclear technology and expertise to help Saudi Arabia develop a civilian energy program. Strict safeguards ensure materials won’t be diverted for weapons.
“I don’t trust anybody as far as I can throw them, but we’ve got to develop allies,” Rep. Tim Burchett, R-Tenn., told reporters.
“And as long as we can verify them, we have the people there that can verify that they’re using them for the proper uses, then we’re okay.”
But Democrats immediately attacked the partnership. Rep. Jamie Raskin, D-Md., called it “outrageous,” while Rep. Gregory Meeks, D-N.Y., fearmongered about a nuclear arms race.
“The president says what we’re trying to do is to stop Iran from having a nuclear weapon, but if Saudi Arabia … does not meet all the protocols, etc., then it could cause an arms race where Egyptians or others in the area want a nuclear weapon,” Meeks said.
The left’s panic ignores basic facts: Iran remains the actual nuclear threat in the region. This deal strengthens America’s position while providing energy solutions to a key ally.
Rep. Mark Alford, R-Miss., emphasized the importance of regional partnerships while noting Congress should have oversight authority.
“I think it’s important with any agreement like that that Congress have a role in that and I look forward to reviewing that,” Alford said.
“As we continue our conflict with Iran, we need partners in that region who are of the same mindset. And Saudi, with its reforms that they’re undergoing right now, gives me great hope and encouragement that we can move forward together in that region to help bring lasting peace.”
Raskin pushed baseless conspiracy theories about President Trump’s family finances.
“Now the Trump administration allows the Saudis to enrich uranium,” Raskin said.
“So, the Saudis enrich the Trumps, and the Trump’s allow the Saudis to enrich uranium and then we’re going to have more nuclear weapons in the Middle East to set off another nuclear arms race there.”
The agreement represents a major diplomatic victory as Trump strengthens Middle East alliances while maintaining maximum pressure on Iran’s dangerous nuclear ambitions. Democrats would rather throw tantrums than acknowledge strategic wins.
Wyatt Matters
Working families understand we need strong allies who share our interests, not empty virtue signaling. This deal puts American technology and energy expertise front and center while containing Iran’s threat. Democrats screaming about proliferation ignore that Iran’s been racing toward nukes for years — this partnership actually counters that danger. Strategic strength keeps America safe and prosperous, not the left’s weakness.
