January 1, Army Reserve Scrambles to Fill Ranks for Possible Cuba Mission

Wyatt’s Take

  • The Army Reserve is quietly checking which units could deploy to Cuba in just a few months.
  • Washington is once again stretching our military thin while the southern border stays wide open.
  • Middle America families carry the cost when global adventures come before homeland security.

The U.S. Army Reserve is assessing whether it can provide additional troops to U.S. Southern Command within three to four months as American military planners continue examining possible operations involving Cuba.

Army Reserve headquarters asked subordinate commands to identify the possible availability of six types of formations that could fall under SOUTHCOM authority.

The survey comes as Pentagon planners study expanded missions that could place American forces near the island nation ninety miles off Florida.

Reserve leaders are looking at units that specialize in logistics, military police, medical support, aviation, engineering, and civil affairs.

These formations would operate under the authority of U.S. Southern Command if ordered forward.

The timing of the request has raised eyebrows among veterans who note that recruitment shortfalls already leave many Guard and Reserve units under strength.

Working families across the heartland know that every deployment pulls fathers, mothers, and young people away from jobs and communities already struggling with inflation and supply chain problems.

Real American strength starts with securing our own borders and taking care of our own people before chasing new missions abroad.

Our borders are secured finally after the onslaught of foreigners allowed by the democrats to invade America in the last democrat administration. President Trump has sealed the border and no one is coming in through the main checkpoints and the little bit that is coming in is finding cracks around the wall. But our Border Patrol has the situation in hand.
So don’t say our border is wide open. That is a factual and honest lie!

Not open at all from the rampant invasion of the auto pen years. Have you seen the Southern border? Sweet!
