Wyatt’s Take

  • Sacramento news station targeted by an armed leftist
  • No injuries, but danger underscores political tensions
  • Online posts suggest motive linked to anti-Trump views

A man with strong anti-Trump beliefs reportedly fired shots at a Sacramento TV news station in California.

No one was hurt, but this shows how tense things are getting in our country.

Police arrested Anibal Hernandez-Santana, 64, after the shooting at the ABC affiliate. He is charged with assault with a deadly weapon, negligent discharge of a firearm, and shooting into an occupied building.

Authorities say Hernandez-Santana often posted harsh anti-Trump messages and violent remarks online before the shooting. Investigators are still looking for the exact motive.

One of his posts said:

“The authoritarian oligarchy is now complete.”

Another post read:

“CBS+ caving, big law firms in DC, the subservients FBI and AG, university presidents stepping down, fan boys SCOTUS, public radio, ICE goons. We are going to have to ‘fight like hell’. Rules don’t apply if election was stolen. FIGHT!”

A day before the shooting, he wrote:

“Where is a good heart attack when we need it the most?? Please Join in my thoughts and prayers for the physical demise of our fearful leader.”

He is held on $200,000 bail and will appear in court soon.

This incident should be a wake-up call for folks who care about safety and sanity in our towns. Keep standing strong and know your neighbors.
