January 1, Anti-Gun Lobby Suffers Crushing Defeat After Defeat

Wyatt’s Take
- Gun-grabbing organizations can’t win in court anymore — Second Amendment is standing strong
- Supreme Court just dealt another major blow to the anti-gun agenda with Wolford v. Lopez
- Even liberal circuit courts are throwing out desperate lawsuits from Bloomberg’s groups
The gun-control lobby is having a nightmare summer in America’s courtrooms. Their losing streak keeps getting worse, and hardworking Americans who believe in the Constitution are winning big.
The Supreme Court’s recent decision in Wolford v. Lopez sent shockwaves through the anti-gun establishment. But that wasn’t even their worst defeat.
The United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit just shut down a desperate lawsuit from Everytown for Gun Safety against the state of Texas. Everytown — backed by billionaire Michael Bloomberg’s millions — wanted to make it easier to strip away Texans’ Second Amendment rights.
The judges weren’t having it. They threw out the case and sent Bloomberg’s lawyers packing.
This marks yet another humiliating loss for the gun-control movement. Across America, courts are finally respecting what the Founders put in the Constitution — the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.
For years, these well-funded groups tried to chip away at our freedoms through activist judges and carefully selected courts. That strategy is falling apart before our eyes.
The tide has turned. Conservative judges appointed by President Trump and other Republican leaders are upholding the Constitution as written, not as progressive activists wish it was written.
Texas stood its ground, and the courts backed them up. That’s how it should work in America.
Every loss for Everytown and similar organizations is a win for law-abiding gun owners who just want to protect their families and exercise their constitutional rights. The Second Amendment isn’t a suggestion — it’s a guarantee.
Why It Matters
When out-of-touch coastal elites try to tell heartland families they can’t defend themselves, our courts are finally saying no. The Constitution still means something, and working Americans who never broke the law shouldn’t have their rights trampled by billionaire-funded lobby groups. This winning streak proves the Second Amendment is alive and well.
