January 1, America Faces a Dangerous Divide Again

Wyatt’s Take

  • The nation is not simply experiencing random violence; it’s coming mainly from one side.
  • Major surveys show left-wing activists justify and celebrate political violence far more often than conservatives do.
  • Unity is impossible when good and evil are locked in a bitter fight over America’s future.

America is facing a crisis where lines are drawn deeper than ever. Political violence isn’t coming from nowhere—it’s driven by radical groups and ideas that won’t just disappear on their own.

Many politicians and leaders have spoken out against the murder of conservative activist Charlie Kirk. That matters, but calls for unity ring hollow while some still justify this kind of brutality.

Too many on the left now see violence as a political tool. One poll even found 25 percent of self-described very liberal folks think it’s okay to use force for politics, while under 3 percent of very conservative people felt the same way.

“Political violence is always wrong. Period. Full stop.”

We hear some try to cast these attacks as isolated, with no clear pattern. That’s not true. Social media was swamped last week with posts celebrating Charlie’s murder, not just by anonymous trolls but professors, journalists, and even some politicians.

Data shows Democrats are almost twice as likely as Republicans to say it’s fine to celebrate the death of a political enemy. Earlier, over half of left-leaning respondents thought killing someone like Donald Trump would be at least somewhat justified. That’s not normal and not acceptable.

Violence on this scale isn’t organic. Major networks of foundations and activist groups, some funded by globalist billionaires, have built an army to stir up chaos and then defend it in the media.

For years, anyone right of center has been branded as a danger or even an enemy. The left’s loudest voices have dehumanized conservatives, fueling more hate and violence.

It’s flat-out wrong to pretend both sides are equally to blame. Let’s look at the facts and call things what they are.

Middle America relies on faith, family, and basic decency. We want peaceful communities, not chaos from radical agendas. Standing up for what’s right means telling hard truths and refusing to pretend all sides play by the same rules—because it’s clear they don’t.
