These workers are heading to the Southeast and Southwest where taxes are lower and common sense still prevails.
The Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce found that housing affordability and public safety are the top reasons for this mass exodus.
“Just like in 2023, about a quarter of young residents are planning to leave Massachusetts,” the chamber noted.
This trend follows a pattern seen in other liberal strongholds where residents are tired of progressive policies that drive up costs.
States like South Carolina are now the fastest-growing in the nation as people prioritize their bank accounts and family safety.

Middle America still offers the stability and safety that so many big coastal cities have abandoned.
When young people can no longer afford a roof over their heads, they eventually look for places that protect both their paychecks and their families.
