Wyatt’s Take

  • Young adults in Boston are increasingly looking to leave because of high rents and safety concerns.
  • A recent survey found that more than a quarter of residents ages 20 to 30 plan to move away within five years.
  • The Boston Chamber of Commerce says housing affordability and public safety are the biggest drivers behind the trend.

These workers are heading to the Southeast and Southwest where taxes are lower and common sense still prevails.

The Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce found that housing affordability and public safety are the top reasons for this mass exodus.

“Just like in 2023, about a quarter of young residents are planning to leave Massachusetts,” the chamber noted.

This trend follows a pattern seen in other liberal strongholds where residents are tired of progressive policies that drive up costs.

States like South Carolina are now the fastest-growing in the nation as people prioritize their bank accounts and family safety.

Wyatt Matters

Middle America still offers the stability and safety that so many big coastal cities have abandoned.

When young people can no longer afford a roof over their heads, they eventually look for places that protect both their paychecks and their families.

They’ll take their stupid left-wing thinking with them and vote for the same policies that caused the problems that they’re running from. They’re too stupid and naive to realize that EVERY vote for a Democrat, in EVERY office, no matter WHAT they say while campaigning, will push the new state/city/county/town headlong to the same problems they left!

You can take a blue state person out of the blue state. But you can’t take a blue state persons blue mind away. Their too stupid to realize that.

To wit, I give you Colorado!
50 years ago we were a sane, western-middle-America, very red state; but then the Libs and Dems showed-up with their big $$$ and toilet thinking politics! Today, this is the prevalent context for Colorado; toilet thinking has clearly put us into the toilet! Pull the lever and flush; seems there’s little hope for redemption now . . .
