January 1, Trump’s Controversial Stance on Transgender Military Service
Get ready, folks! As Donald Trump gears up to take office again, there’s a lot of talk about how he might handle transgender issues, especially in the military and with kids.
Some say he might change the rules for transgender people in the military, but Karoline Leavitt, who’s going to be Trump’s press secretary, says nothing’s decided yet. She made it clear: “If it doesn’t come from Trump or us, it’s just gossip.”
Now, there’s a group called SPARTA Pride saying there are around 15,000 transgender people in the military. Back in 2017, Trump said they couldn’t serve because of “tremendous medical costs and disruption.” This was different from before when Obama let them serve openly and use taxpayer money for their treatments.
Even though there were some legal fights, Trump’s policies were followed until Biden came in and changed them. But Trump’s got some new ideas this time!
He’s planning to stop what he calls “chemical, physical and emotional mutilation of our youth.” He wants to make sure no federal agency supports sex changes for kids and will ask Congress to stop using taxpayer money for these procedures.
And he’s also been loud about fair play in sports. He showed an ad that was all about keeping boys out of girls’ sports. It even took a jab at Kamala Harris for supporting sex change operations for inmates in California.
Trump’s making it clear: he’s standing up for traditional values, and a lot of folks are listening.

US taxpayers shouldn’t be paying for these transitions and treatments in the military. Obviously it doesn’t benefit the military to have transexuals requiring constant drugs and operations. So Trump should ban all future trans people and treatments.

There is no such entity as a “transgender”. Those who keep the genitalia they were born with are simply people dressing up as another sex. Those males and females who have their genitalia removed and given female or male “parts” cannot, no matter how many surgeries, cannot change their chromosomes. They are still the sex they were born as.

i did 23 years in the Marines and 2 in the Army. THERE IS NO WAY there are 15,000 “trans” people in the U.S. military!! the ones that are in need to be given an Administrative Discharge under Honorable Conditions.

The MILITARY has been a volunteering culture for some time now. There are such times when The Country cries out for Patriots to come to the aide of The Country. That’s the duty of being an American and a Patriot! It’s also an HONOR to serve her!!But to ask The Country to alter your body, given by GOD, who knows you better than you know yourself to ask your Country to change that is immoral and taking it out of GODS wishes and plans. Be content and Happy with what GOD gave you, afterall, HE did it for a reason and that is HIS Devine reason!

Transgenders have mental problems that the American tax payer should not have to pay the price for. They are easily swayed to change their thinking. That in turn makes them a possible threat.

I may seem a bit old-fashioned – but I have served in the military – an air force unit siding with the ASA in NATO early warning. Well, in our service, it did not matter so much whether you were man or woman, as you did your duty in a room and before electronic devices. It was only for real alarm, that we had cars and driver waiting in stand-by, day and night, to take us away to second front line stations (before ours exploded). But that is a special service with conditions that are not the usual – we called it ’24/7 war-conditions’.
In a battlefield situation, or the usual living and training conditions – also copying war conditions – not to mention real war conditions, that is different. Your living, serving, eating, sleeping, dressing, washing is all in close proximity to others, and not necessarily great shy decency.
I remember that from the first half-year of military training -before air force college-and I could not even imagine living together with young women in the same rooms, washing and toilet places, or worse – out in the field – and needing to do something… Most women are very shy about that – and, believe or not: Men, too!
AND I would also look at every recruit from his (or her) stature and stamina! There are, I know women who can beat average men – and they may be able to to the serving – BUT BETTER IN A WOMEN’S UNIT! AND NO WEAKER ONES ADMITTED! Today’s demands on female recruits have so badly lowered that a unit would be weakened, if they were placed in it. So, a large number of not so strong women can be disaster for a troop’s ability to serve!
Added to this come absences due to pregnancy (sometimes deliberate, before posting in a war zone) and affairs within the unit.
I’d recommend, therefore: A. Military units of separate sex; no “genders”; no lower strength rates!

I think having trans people in the military weakens the military. While our military is being trained on what pronouns to use other countries are training their military to fight. I’ve seen some of the cringe worthy ads for transgender soldiers. They make our military look weak and ridiculous. No tax payer money should ever be spent on transitioning these people. If any money from tax payers is used it should be for mental health services. In today’s world we definitely don’t need our military to be a laughing stock around the globe.
