January 1, “Repugnant and Disgraceful”: Dems Blasted Over Israel Comments
In the aftermath of a shocking terrorist onslaught by Hamas on Israel, a rift is appearing within the Democratic party, as some lawmakers face mounting backlash for their comments on the crisis.
The tension reached the White House, with press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre articulating the administration’s disappointment with Congress members pushing for an Israeli ceasefire.
She addressed these sentiments, declaring, “So, I’ve seen some of those statements this weekend. And we’re gonna continue to be very clear. We believe they’re wrong. We believe they’re repugnant and we believe they’re disgraceful.”
Notably, Democratic Representatives Ilhan Omar (Minn.) and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (N.Y.) have called for a ceasefire and de-escalation in the region.
Additionally, Omar, alongside Rep. Cori Bush (D-Mo.), has drawn criticism for labeling Israel an apartheid state and urging the cessation of U.S. funding to the nation.
The White House’s rebuke was unambiguous.
Jean-Pierre stated, “Our condemnation belongs squarely with terrorists who have brutally murdered, raped, kidnapped, hundreds, hundreds of Israelis. There can be no equivocation about that. There are not two sides here. There are not two sides.”
Bush’s statement, delivered on Saturday night, provoked further controversy as she argued that the “U.S. government support for Israel military occupation and apartheid” should be terminated.
Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.), who is of Palestinian heritage, underscored the need to “dismantle the apartheid system that creates the suffocating, dehumanizing conditions that can lead to resistance.”
Her statement was immediately met with backlash from both parties.
Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo called on the residents of Tlaib’s Dearborn, Mich. district to “vote her out immediately.”
Fellow Democratic Representatives Ritchie Torres (N.Y.) and Josh Gottheimer (N.J.) also swiftly responded.
Torres didn’t hold back, asserting, “Shame on anyone who glorifies as ‘resistance’ the largest single-day mass murder of Jews since the Holocaust.”
Torres further criticized multiple Harvard University student groups for a letter they penned, attributing the chaos and fatalities from the Hamas strikes to the Israeli government.
Israel is the victim of a terrorist attack. Hamas is the perpetrator. It’s as simple as that. There are no “both sides.”

There are many of these Hamas ragheads here in America right now thanks to the lowly “Democrat” scum & their open border policies for the last 3 years.Another 9/11 is coming at any moment because these thugs have already declared that the US is as much an enemy as Israel. Joe Biden & all his lowly supporters are up to their necks in blood as everyone knows if Trump was not cheated out of an election none of this would have happened.

You got that right, fellow American!! Trump should be our president not that BOZO who was born in thee cellar and never brought up! In addition, those Muslim Congress persons should be thrown out of Congress for what they said in support of Hamas while at work in Congress.

Remember. Obama relocated thousands of Muslims during his presidency. They came here colonizing many areas of our country. Obana knew exactly what would happen when he brought them here…infiltrate our government! This was all planned by the Dem/Communists. There are complete towns of them and the police is nonexistent in these communities.

I don’t think “everyone” knows that, “if Trump was not cheated out of an election, none of this (Hamas attacking Israel) would have happened”.
#1, Trump was not cheated out of an election; he LOST the election and there was no fraud and “steal” involved in the votes for Joe Biden, our PRESIDENT. #2, Trump’s claim that he could end this war (and the war with Russia and Ukraine) is just another one of his lies. He doesn’t tell us HOW he would end these wars.

It will get worse. Hamas is already talking about those mean old Jews, ignoring, of course, their own heinous acts. War always creates ‘collateral damage’ (a phrase I hate) but it is usually inadvertent. The deliberate targeting of civilians (especially children) is an abhorrent act beyond forgiveness. The civilians of the Gaza Strip as well as all the Arab nations should, must denounce the acts of Hamas.Don’t forget; the Arabs refer to Palestinians as ‘dogs’ and have used them as disposable patsies for decades.

I guess college does breed ignorance more than knowledge! Who would they blame if affected them directly and Hamas rained on their music fest? Don’t think they would have same feelings!

No sympathy for the SCPs (So-Called Palestinians since, in reality, there’s no such thing as a “Palestinian”). They either supported Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and the other terrorist groups that run their enclave or they just decided to stand-by and allow them to commit actions they KNEW would put them under the gun. They deserve everything they get from their support of, or indifference to, Hamas.
