January 1, Harris shifts blame to Border Patrol as migrant crisis continues
Vice President Kamala Harris said she is “deeply troubled” by the widespread images of Border Patrol agents on horseback preventing migrants from entering the US.
“What I saw depicted about those individuals on horseback treating human beings the way they were, was horrible,” Harris told reporters. “And I fully support what is happening right now, which is a thorough investigation into exactly what is going on there. But human beings should never be treated that way. And I’m deeply troubled about it. And I’ll also be talking to Secretary [Alejandro] Mayorkas about it today.”
Border Patrol agents are overwhelmed by the process of dealing with over 14,000 migrants, working 10 hours a day and six days a week. Agents told the media they were angry with the piled-on criticism from the Biden administration, accusing it of deflecting blame for its inability to control the border.
“This whole situation is blowing up and even liberals are turning on this administration,” one agent told Fox News. “[Harris] is placing blame on agents to deflect because she and Biden are not going to change how they are handling this.”

To the not so easy to find VP Kamala Harris,
I am DEEPLY DISTURBED by your lack of any effort on your part or anyone in your, and I shudder to say, administration. You have watched tens of thousands migrants cross our border, disbanded across our country without regard to health precautions, or any even minimal actions to stop this. You are a disgrace as is your boss, and DHS secretary…completely incompetent and a puppet for your lack of enforcing anything that resembles law. In regard to the Texas enforcement on horseback..those were reins controlling the horses…not whips…and they have every right in the world to defend their border and territory…unlike you. Let these migrants camp out in front of your residences in DC and Calif…..invite them in for a home cooked meal, warm bed, hot shower….lead by example Madaam VP.
