Wyatt’s Take

  • Trump is using the Antiquities Act to protect the Oval Office from future destruction by radical leftists.
  • The move prevents woke administrations from gutting historic spaces after they regain power.
  • Middle America sees this as a direct response to Democrats’ endless attacks on American institutions and traditions.

President Donald Trump signed an Antiquities Act proclamation creating the Oval Office National Monument covering the Oval Office, Outer Oval Office and Cabinet Room, saying future presidents should not be able to rip the spaces down.

“These rooms represent the heart of American leadership and should be preserved for generations to come,” Trump stated during the signing ceremony.

The declaration comes after Democrats made major gains in the midterms, raising concerns among conservatives that incoming administrations would attempt to erase Trump’s impact on the White House.

“We’re not going to let them tear down everything we’ve built,” a senior administration official told reporters.

Critics on the left immediately condemned the move, calling it an abuse of executive power. Trump supporters pushed back, arguing that Democrats have repeatedly shown they will destroy historic spaces when given the chance.

Good for him. So sick of the “woke” thinking the democrats are forcing upon me and thinking open boarders are ok. That illegals(or DACA Persons) can hold elected offices; or if they hold dual citizenships. They’re idiots and believe the cons you is just paper
