January 1, Kimmel Tears Up for Protesters Not for Victims

Wyatt’s Take

  • Jimmy Kimmel gets emotional on TV again, this time over a Minneapolis protester.
  • He stayed silent and joked about other tragedies involving conservatives.
  • Americans see through these double standards in Hollywood and the media.

Jimmy Kimmel broke down in front of his audience once again on Monday, this time over the death of a protester in Minneapolis. Kimmel delivered two emotional moments during his speech, focusing his support on those protesting ICE and praising the deceased, Alex Pretti, an ICU nurse.

“We are with you and you are not alone,” Kimmel told the crowd.

Kimmel’s critics were quick to respond on social media, reminding everyone that he once joked about Charlie Kirk’s assassination. His monologue was packed with harsh words for President Trump and law enforcement, instead of focusing on uniting his viewers.

One commenter pointed out Kimmel never showed any emotion for victims like Laken Riley, Iryna Zarutska, or Charlie Kirk, saying, “Did he ever cry for Laken Riley, Iryna Zarutska, or Charlie Kirk? Didn’t think so.”

Radio host Jimmy Failla added, “Jimmy Kimmel is proof that any comic who refuses to tell a joke will eventually become one.” Kimmel’s past actions, like joking about Kirk’s murder and crying over other issues, didn’t go unnoticed by everyday Americans fed up with double standards. When it comes to law enforcement, Kimmel’s tears seem reserved only for stories that fit the Hollywood script.

The media may celebrate him, but working Americans aren’t fooled by the selective outrage or virtue signaling from late-night TV.

Wyatt Matters

Common folks in Middle America see through these city celebrity antics. They remember who gets honored and who gets ignored, and they know real fairness comes from standing up for all victims, not just the ones that fit an agenda.
