January 1, Comedian’s Comeback Flop: Pandering, Flip-Flopping, and Plummeting Popularity

Former comedian Jon Stewart, who had previously taken a nine-year hiatus from his well-known television program, recently made a rather embarrassing return to the far-left show. Stewart, who had attempted and failed at various ventures including an HBO show, directing features, and a streaming show that garnered fewer viewers than a test pattern, had previously suggested that President Joe Biden was too old to be president.

However, Stewart recently backpedaled on his comments, seemingly caving to the pressure from the left-wing mob. His return to his old show was marked by his attempt to convince his small audience that he would be his own man, even going so far as to mock the sensitive topic of Biden’s age.

In reference to Special Counsel Robert Hur’s report, which essentially stated that Biden is not mentally fit to stand trial, Stewart commented,

“This guy couldn’t remember stuff during his deposition. Do you understand what that means? He had no ability to recall very basic things under questioning. The footage of the president unable to recall simple facts must have been brutal to watch.”

Stewart didn’t stop there. He also made fun of Biden for mistakenly referring to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi as the president of Mexico during a White House press conference. This was meant to address the special counsel’s comments about his age. Stewart quipped,

“Now, geography buffs might have noticed Gaza and Mexico do not share a border.”

Predictably, Stewart, ever the obedient lapdog, then proceeded to attack former President Trump’s age. However, his comments about Biden’s age caused a stir among the left, who were upset that Stewart dared to speak an inconvenient truth that could hinder the Democrat Party’s relentless pursuit of power.

In a surprising turn of events, Stewart used Biden’s disastrous State of the Union speech not to critique Biden, but to reprimand himself for suggesting that Biden was not up to the task of presidency. He said,

“Which one of you pricks wants to fight? Put up your dukes! Biden is back, baby! I know that all that all the haters have been out there, talking their shit — he is too old, he is too weak, he won’t be able to make it, he is — I see you haters. I know who you are! (pulls mirror, blows himself a kiss). … Of course, by the way, the State Of the Union was just the Democratic message. But does that message survive a concise and intelligent rebuttal? It happened on Thursday. I should read the whole thing, though I should. Would it survive a concise and intelligent rebuttal from the G. O.P.? Or whatever it was that Alabama senator Katie Britt.”

What followed was a 15-minute segment of Republican bashing.

When Stewart first made his return to his old show, the corporate media was quick to praise the show as a ratings hit, claiming that Stewart had brought almost two million viewers with him. However, on Monday, March 4, Stewart failed to attract even a million viewers, with only 918,000 tuning in.

As I have always maintained, the cable television industry is nothing more than a safety net for leftists like Jon Stewart, who invariably fail in a merit-based world, such as streaming platforms.

In conclusion, it’s clear that Stewart’s return to his old show is nothing more than a desperate attempt to regain relevance. His flip-flopping on Biden’s age and his blatant pandering to the left-wing mob are clear indicators of his lack of integrity and his willingness to compromise his beliefs for the sake of appeasing his audience.
