Wyatt’s Take

  • JD Vance is standing up for American energy jobs instead of foreign imports.
  • Alaska workers know that drilling and pipelines mean paychecks, not slogans.
  • Trump and Vance are keeping the promise to put our own resources first.

Vice President JD Vance flew north to The Last Frontier to back Republican candidates fighting for Alaska’s two federal seats in the coming midterms.

Vance told the crowd that energy independence and energy dominance are not just campaign lines but the path to stronger families and safer borders.

“We are going to drill, we are going to build pipelines, and we are going to stop sending our dollars to countries that hate us,” Vance said.

The message landed with workers who have watched Washington tie up projects for years while promising green jobs that never appeared.

Republicans on the ballot in Alaska face the same old obstacles: environmental lawsuits, federal red tape, and Democrats who would rather buy oil from overseas than use what we have at home.

Vance reminded the audience that energy dominance starts with opening federal lands and cutting the rules that keep good projects stuck in court.

“We have the resources, we have the workers, and we have the will,” he said. “All we need is a government that gets out of the way.”

Supporters say the rally showed the difference between talk about climate targets and real plans that keep the lights on and factories running.

Wyatt Matters

Hard-working Americans in the heartland and on the frontier want leaders who treat energy as a strength, not a problem to be regulated away.
