Wyatt’s Take

  • Rubio is in India strengthening ties with a key democratic partner while standing up for American values abroad.
  • Freedom 250 reception puts the spotlight on liberty and self-government at a time when those ideas face attacks at home and overseas.
  • Heartland Americans want leaders who put the country’s interests first and build real alliances, not endless foreign giveaways.

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio touched down in Mumbai this week for a short but high-stakes visit.

His schedule includes talks with India’s external affairs minister and a keynote at the Freedom 250 reception held at the U.S. Embassy in India.

The stop underscores the growing partnership between two of the world’s largest democracies.

Both nations share concerns about border security, fair trade, and pushing back against authoritarian influence around the globe.

Wyatt Matters

Middle America still believes in strong borders, honest trade deals, and friendships with nations that respect liberty. Rubio’s trip shows the country is once again choosing partners who share those values instead of chasing empty globalist promises.
