January 1, Radical House Democrat Calls Election Security ‘Voter Suppression’

Wyatt’s Take
- Democrats keep fighting basic proof of citizenship rules that protect every legal vote
- El-Sayed’s comments show how far left the party has moved on election integrity
- Voters want clean elections and know the difference between security and suppression
Radical House Democrat Abdulrahman El-Sayed told voters in Michigan that requiring proof of citizenship amounts to voter suppression.
The Democrat Senate candidate made the remarks during a debate Wednesday night.
El-Sayed pushed back against the SAVE America Act, which would require ID and proof of citizenship to vote.
“It’s about voter suppression,” El-Sayed said of the election security bill.
The candidate’s stance puts him at odds with polls showing most Americans support basic voter ID laws.
Working families across the heartland understand that fair elections require secure borders and honest counts.
Wyatt Matters
Middle America wants elections that count only legal American votes and nothing else.
