January 1, Ms Rachel Pushes Wealthy White Celebrities to Match Macklemore’s Massive Gaza Donation

Wyatt’s Take
- Ms Rachel is pressuring only White celebrities to match a $1 million gift to groups tied to Palestinian causes, framing it as a moral test.
- The move comes after Macklemore lost tour dates for his anti-Israel performances and is now calling on Patriots owner Robert Kraft to match him.
- Critics say the focus on Gaza over other global crises and the targeting of one race reveal a double standard in celebrity activism.
Children’s YouTube star Ms. Rachel announced she will match rapper Macklemore’s one-million-dollar gift to Palestinian aid groups and called on every wealthy White celebrity to do the same.
She posted the pledge on Instagram and said the money will go to the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund, one of the six groups Macklemore chose after his earnings from the Ed Sheeran tour.
Macklemore was removed from the tour following repeated calls for a “Free Palestine” and after performing his song “Hind’s Hall” at MetLife Stadium.
“I will match Macklemore’s donation and I invite every wealthy White celebrity to match it and speak out against the genocide in Gaza,” Ms. Rachel wrote.
She added that more than twenty thousand Palestinian children have been killed and said, “We have a moral obligation to use our privilege and platforms to protect children and human rights.”
Ms. Rachel also claimed that if the same number of White children were dying elsewhere, stars would be speaking out at every concert.
“If more than 20,000 White children were killed in another part of the world, everyone would be shouting about it at their concerts,” she said. “Treating some children’s lives as less worthy of outrage is racist. Silence during a genocide is not neutral.”
Patriots owner Robert Kraft responded to Macklemore’s challenge by noting he had already pledged two million dollars in humanitarian aid to the region through his long-standing work in the Middle East.
Pro-Israel voices have pushed back, pointing out that Ms. Rachel has stayed quiet on Israeli children held hostage while giving nearly all her attention to Gaza.
Rabbi Yaakov Menken of the Coalition for Jewish Values said her pattern shows the issue is not a broad concern for children but something darker.
Wyatt Matters
Middle America believes every child’s life is precious, not a tool for selective outrage or race-based guilt trips from the entertainment class.
