Wyatt’s Take

  • Brooke Hogan is calling out the vultures who showed up only when her dad was dying to grab what they could.
  • The family home where Hulk Hogan spent his final years just sold for far less than it should have after sitting on the market for months.
  • Real family shows up in the hard times, not just when cameras are rolling or money is on the table.

Brooke Hogan is speaking out after the sale of her late father Hulk Hogan’s beachfront Florida home. She is calling out people she says only came around when money was involved.

The 5,400-square-foot Clearwater Beach mansion sold for $5.9 million after sitting on the market since January. The guest cottage next door sold for another $2.8 million. The home had been listed for nearly $11 million.

“The sick feeling is indescribable,” Brooke wrote on Instagram Stories.

“This house was where dad and Jen envisioned growing old together,” she added, referring to Hulk’s ex-wife Jennifer McDaniel.

“Where we brought him back to…surgery after surgery,” Brooke continued. “Pool days. The smell of gasoline in his garage. His workouts downstairs.”

“We cooked, we watched Jerry springer, we played music, we cried,” she recalled. “I walked in that garage every visit and hugged him right when he’d open the garage door. I’d sit next to him for hours in the chair he died in.”

“His whole environment, his energy, his work, his relationships: First Jen — who no one but me treated with respect. Then I was gone…the truth teller… I’m sure to everyone’s delight.”

“And now it’s all gone. Sold for profit. Just like him…used for f—–g everyone else’s gain. Saddest ending I’ve ever seen. You know who TF you are,” Brooke concluded.

“Let’s not forget who was there for the 15 years before the vultures swooped in conveniently,” she wrote alongside a photo of herself with Hulk on the dock outside the home.

Brooke also praised Jennifer McDaniel for standing by Hulk through his health struggles. She said McDaniel asked for nothing after their divorce and never launched a smear campaign.

“Jen and I were the nurse crew. Notebooks, records, prescription pickups, overnights, switching shifts,” Brooke wrote.

“This woman spent more time in the trenches than ANY of us did,” she continued. “He LOVED her dearly. And she loved him.”

Brooke pointed out that many people who appeared at public tributes never spent real time with her father when he was sick. She accused some of only showing up when they could profit from his fame.

“Not ONE of these people stayed longer than an hour in the hospital… if they even showed,” she wrote.

“And I’ve had to hear everyone say I’m the jerk for stepping away from the toxic behavior and brainwashing, fake, greedy people… ‘I should have been there.’ ‘Everyone else’ was there till the end. NO. They were there AT the end. To collect,” she wrote on a photo of herself with Hulk.

Brooke later clarified that she was not criticizing WWE stars. She said she was pointing out people who showed up for cameras but were never there during the hard times.

“Hey reporters: I don’t have beef with the stars of WWE. Nor did I say that. Do your job right or don’t do it at all,” she wrote.

Brooke and Hulk were once very close but had been estranged during the final years of his life. Hulk removed Brooke from his will in 2023, leaving everything to her brother Nick.

Brooke has said she asked to be removed from the will because she wanted no part of family fighting over money.

Wyatt Matters

Family loyalty means showing up when it is hard, not just when there is something to gain. Middle America still believes real love sticks around through the tough times instead of waiting for a payout.
