January 1, Trump Unleashes Brutal Threat After Iran’s Surprise Attack on American Forces

Wyatt’s Take
- Iran just launched ballistic missiles at U.S. forces in Jordan — a direct attack on American troops that demands an overwhelming response.
- Trump isn’t mincing words or hiding behind diplomatic double-talk: he’s promising to ‘beat the f—— s— out of them’ and deliver a beating Iran won’t forget.
- This is what deterrence looks like — strength, clarity, and zero tolerance for attacks on our men and women in uniform.
President Donald Trump issued a profanity-laced warning to Iran on Wednesday morning after the Islamic regime launched a surprise missile strike on U.S. forces in Jordan overnight. Iran just crossed a red line, and Trump made it crystal clear: there will be hell to pay.
“We’re going to beat the f—— s— out of them,” Trump told Fox News chief foreign correspondent Trey Yingst.
“We’ll be hitting them hard,” the president said of Iran. “They’re going to get a beating.”
Trump revealed that American forces in Jordan had just minutes to respond and shoot down the incoming Iranian ballistic missiles. The president reviewed video footage showing U.S. personnel calling out coordinates in real time during the interceptions — brave men and women doing their jobs under fire while Iran tried to kill them.
U.S. Central Command confirmed all Iranian missiles were successfully intercepted. Our troops performed flawlessly under pressure.
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) fired ballistic missiles at the Muwaffaq Salti Air Base and the headquarters of the U.S. military’s Central Command in Jordan, the paramilitary force said in a statement carried by Iran’s state-run IRNA news agency. This wasn’t a mistake or an accident — this was a deliberate attack on American forces.
Jordan’s military said five Iranian missiles had been intercepted and destroyed. There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage.
The U.S. military later announced that American and Saudi fighter aircraft had struck multiple Iran-backed Shiite logistics and weapons sites in eastern Iraq in response to alleged drone attacks on Saudi Arabia. The Saudi Defense Ministry warned that it “does not seek escalation but will respond to any aggression.” America’s allies are standing with us.
Trump told reporters that the overnight U.S.-Saudi strikes against Iran-backed Shiite militias in Iraq were coordinated with the Iraqi government. He called the militias a “cancer on the world” and said additional warnings against Iranian proxies were under consideration.
Despite the flare-up, Trump said that talks with Iran will continue.
“We’re going to let them keep talking,” he said.
Why It Matters
This is the difference between strength and weakness. When Iran attacks American forces, they need to know the price will be unbearable. Trump understands what working families across America have always known: weakness invites aggression, and strength prevents it. Our troops deserve a commander-in-chief who has their backs and won’t apologize for defending American lives. That’s exactly what they’ve got.
