January 1, Trump Judge BLOCKS DeSantis Anti-Woke Law — Conservative Outrage Explodes

Wyatt’s Take

  • A Trump-appointed judge just struck down a key piece of Florida’s fight against woke indoctrination in universities — claiming it violates the First Amendment
  • The 2-1 appeals court ruling guts the higher education portion of Ron DeSantis’s Stop WOKE Act, which was designed to protect students from radical left-wing gender ideology
  • This decision puts woke propaganda back on the classroom menu in Florida colleges, handing a massive win to the campus radicals who want to brainwash your kids

A federal appeals court just handed the radical left a major victory in Florida. A Trump-appointed judge ruled against a critical part of Governor Ron DeSantis’s Stop WOKE Act on Tuesday, blocking the state’s effort to keep divisive left-wing ideology out of college classrooms.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit delivered a 2-1 decision that strikes down the higher education portion of the 2022 Florida law. The law was specifically designed to stop universities from forcing radical gender theory and divisive race-based curriculum on students.

The court claimed the law violates the First Amendment. That’s right — apparently protecting students from political indoctrination is now considered unconstitutional.

DeSantis pushed the Stop WOKE Act as a cornerstone of his effort to restore sanity to Florida’s education system. The law targeted the kind of mandatory diversity training and classroom content that tells white students they’re inherently racist or pushes transgender ideology as settled science.

The Governor’s office fought hard for this legislation, arguing that taxpayer-funded institutions shouldn’t be platforms for radical left-wing propaganda. But the court sided with university professors and administrators who claimed their academic freedom was under attack.

This decision is a gut punch to parents across Florida who elected DeSantis specifically to clean up the woke mess in schools and universities. Now the floodgates are open again for professors to push their political agendas on captive audiences of students.

The irony isn’t lost on conservatives — a Trump-appointed judge blocking a Republican governor’s conservative education reform. It’s a reminder that even judges appointed by Republican presidents don’t always rule the way common-sense Americans expect.

Florida has been leading the charge against woke ideology in education, with other red states watching closely and following DeSantis’s playbook. This ruling could embolden the left nationwide to challenge similar laws in other states.

The battle over what gets taught in publicly funded institutions is far from over. But for now, the campus radicals in Florida are celebrating — and hardworking taxpayers are footing the bill for the indoctrination.

Why It Matters

This isn’t just about Florida. When courts block common-sense laws that protect students from political brainwashing, every parent in America should pay attention. Your tax dollars fund these universities, but unelected judges are making sure radical professors can keep pushing their agenda without consequence. The fight to reclaim education from the woke mob just got harder.

This is absolutely ridiculous! Judges in a robe can dictate what my children need to learn about this woke insanity – SORRY – my children will find another school!

At least they will be protected in the early years when they are supposed to be learning math, science, and English. By the time they get to college they should be able to think for themselves, if not, there are other colleges that will teach them the coursework, not ideology.

Most kids coming out of college in the last 10 years have been indoctrinated.

This then is how Socialism/Marxism/Communism has been reintroduced in our bastions of higher education. That along with America is bad seem to be the order of the day for these Left wing professors. So sad to see.

I find the hypocrisy of this message mind blowing. In Texas conservatives are making Bible study part of the curriculum in schools now and in Florida they want to stop the Woke, calling it propaganda and brainwashing! The right keeps disrespecting the constitution at every bend and attempting to re-write the laws of this country that we have lived by since 1776! Who is really using mind control attempts, using their propaganda to convince all of us that politicians think we don’t know what’s best for us, so they will tell you and decide? Texas use to be top contenders in education until the Right took over. No progress on any front when Republicans take over. They are very good at filling their own pockets while in office, while they empty yours! Rubbish!!!

What America do you live in? America is not about woke ideology, America was built on these beliefs. If you don’t like it leave. I’m suprised you didn’t blame Trump. You sound like one of the alphabet freaks.

That’s great! Now the people radical professors can teach our children that communism is cool, socialism is sweet and that capitalism is crap. These students don’t realize that in order to succeed in life, nice house, nice car and successful career depends on the concepts of capitalism.

This is very unfortunate and disturbing.

I suggest parents send their children to private schools if they can, Christian schools. Find a charter school that does not indoctinate kids and get a voucher to send your kids there. Another option is to homeschool, if both parents work, I suggest hiring a retired teacher to homeschool a group of kids.

Find a way to get your kid out of public schools. As a former teacher I am telling you find a way to get your children away from the brainwashing and radicalization if you do not want to lose your child.
