January 1, SHOCK TRIAL: 9/11 Mastermind Finally Faces Justice After Staggering Delay

Wyatt’s Take
- After nearly three decades of legal games and Obama-Biden bureaucracy, the alleged mastermind behind 9/11 will finally stand trial in 2028
- Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and three accomplices killed nearly 3,000 Americans but have dodged justice for 27 years while living on taxpayer dime at Gitmo
- This endless delay is exactly why Middle America has lost faith in Washington’s ability to protect our people and deliver justice to terrorists
The alleged mastermind behind the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks will finally stand trial — 27 years after the deadliest day on American soil since Pearl Harbor. Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and three other accomplices are scheduled to face justice in 2028 for the murder of nearly 3,000 innocent Americans.
The stunning delay has left families of 9/11 victims waiting nearly three decades for closure. While Mohammed lived in military detention at Guantanamo Bay, grieving parents, spouses, and children watched year after year slip by with no accountability.
The trial comes after endless legal maneuvering and political interference that stretched what should have been swift military justice into a generational nightmare. The case has been bogged down in the same swamp politics that let our border stay open and our enemies run free.
Mohammed, captured in Pakistan in 2003, has admitted to planning the attacks that brought down the Twin Towers, struck the Pentagon, and killed passengers on United Flight 93. But admission of guilt hasn’t translated into consequences — not while Washington elite worried more about optics than justice.
The four defendants face charges of terrorism, murder in violation of the law of war, attacking civilians, and destruction of property. These are the men who turned commercial airliners into missiles and forever changed American life.
For families who lost loved ones in New York, Pennsylvania, and Virginia, 2028 represents yet another agonizing wait. Many parents who lost children on 9/11 won’t live to see justice delivered. That’s not the American system our Founders designed.
Wyatt Matters
Working Americans understand something Washington never will: justice delayed is justice denied. When the worst terrorists in modern history get to drag out trials for 27 years, our enemies are watching. They see weakness. They see a system that ties itself in knots while they laugh behind bars on our dime. Middle America sent a message in the last election — enough games, enough excuses. It’s time to put American victims first and stop treating monsters with kid gloves.
