January 1, Republicans Push Shocking Bill That Would Arm Corporate Giants

Wyatt’s Take
- A new GOP bill would give weapons to private companies that own data centers — raising serious questions about who’s really being protected
- BlackRock and other Wall Street giants could gain armed security powers normally reserved for government agencies
- Tennessee Republican is leading the charge to hand over this kind of power to corporate America
A new Republican-led bill making its way through both chambers of Congress could fundamentally change who gets to carry weapons to protect critical infrastructure. And it’s raising eyebrows among conservatives who thought the GOP was supposed to be skeptical of corporate power.
The Critical Infrastructure Airspace Defense Act was introduced in the House by Tennessee Republican Rep. Matt Van Epps on Tuesday. The legislation would allow private companies that own data centers and other facilities to arm their security forces — if the Secretary of Homeland Security decides those assets are “critical” enough.
That means massive corporations like BlackRock, which has been gobbling up data centers and other infrastructure across America, could soon have their own armed guards with powers that go well beyond typical private security. These wouldn’t be rent-a-cops with flashlights.
They’d have real firepower to protect corporate assets.
The bill has companion legislation in the Senate, showing this isn’t just one congressman’s pet project. It’s got backing from Republican leadership who seem more interested in protecting Big Tech’s server farms than questioning why we’re handing military-grade authority to Wall Street firms.
Critics are asking the obvious question: why are Republicans so eager to arm the very corporations that have been censoring conservatives, manipulating markets, and pushing woke ideology? BlackRock has been at the forefront of ESG investing that punishes oil and gas companies while propping up green energy boondoggles.
Now they might get their own private army?
The legislation gives the Homeland Security Secretary broad discretion to determine what counts as “critical infrastructure.” That’s a recipe for abuse, especially when corporate lobbyists start making their case that every server storing their data deserves armed protection at taxpayer-subsidized authority levels.
Data centers have become massive operations, housing the servers that run everything from social media platforms to financial systems. Tech giants and investment firms like BlackRock have poured billions into these facilities. But that doesn’t mean they should get special privileges to arm up like they’re running a military base.
Republicans used to talk about limiting corporate power and keeping government lean. This bill does the opposite — it merges corporate interests with government-sanctioned force in a way that should make anyone nervous about the future of accountability and oversight.
The timing is particularly questionable given ongoing concerns about Big Tech’s influence over American life. These are the same companies that have been accused of election interference, data privacy violations, and working hand-in-glove with federal agencies to suppress speech.
Now some Republicans want to give them guns too.
Wyatt Matters
When Republicans start sounding like they work for BlackRock instead of working families, it’s time to ask whose side they’re really on. Corporate power armed with government authority isn’t conservatism — it’s the swamp in a new uniform. Middle America didn’t vote for politicians to protect Wall Street’s data centers with private armies.

Blackrock is part of the globalist elite – the WEF – whose goal is to kill off 75% of the world population, so they can control the rest. They want control of all assets – animal, earth, natural resources, water, land, crops, all assets.
So why would they give him anymore control?
