January 1, Radical House Democrat Refuses July 4th Question — Gives Jaw-Dropping Answer Instead

When Fox News asked House Democrats a simple July 4th question — are you proud to be American? — the answers revealed everything wrong with today’s radical Left.
Most Democrats couldn’t manage a clean yes without attacking President Trump. But one Texas congressman went further — refusing to answer at all.
Rep. Al Green wouldn’t explain why he’s proud to be American. Instead, he launched straight into impeachment talk.
“I am very proud to tell you that impeachment is an option to remove a reckless, ruthless, lawless president.”
“I’m proud that it exists,” Green added.
That’s right — on Independence Day, this Democrat celebrated impeachment instead of America. Let that sink in.
Rep. Lloyd Doggett, another Texas Democrat, echoed the hysteria.
“I believe Americans are ready to defend our democracy and oppose authoritarianism so that we can celebrate our 251st birthday in this country instead of turning all power over to a would-be king.”
Would-be king? This is the same unhinged rhetoric Democrats have been peddling since 2016.
After his anti-Trump screed, Doggett finally got around to praising America — but only after making sure everyone knew he opposes the administration.
“We’re the greatest country on earth. We’re innovative, we’re smart, we make sure that we promote our values, our liberties and justice and freedom. We’re always trying to perfect our union, but at the same time, we were the great experiment of democracy and it’s been a rousing success.”
Rep. Mark Pocan from Wisconsin offered lukewarm praise wrapped in qualifiers.
“The freedoms that we have and the fact that anyone should be able to get ahead for them and their family based on the laws we have every now and then — in general, it’s sound.”
“Every now and then”? “In general”?
That’s the best they can muster?
Rep. Shri Thanedar of Michigan, who immigrated from India in 1979, at least acknowledged American exceptionalism — though he couldn’t resist taking a shot at the administration.
“This is a great country. You know, we are a country of immigrants. Immigrants have contributed so much to our country, and you know this is the greatest country on earth. I am so proud to call myself an American citizen, although there are some concerns with the new administration.”
Republicans, by contrast, gave straightforward answers celebrating the founding principles that built this nation.
Rep. Glenn Grothman from Wisconsin pointed to the Constitution as the foundation of American prosperity.
“I guess our Constitution and all the freedoms we have that other countries don’t have, which results in us being so much wealthier than other countries — not that that’s the main thing. But you look at your average American with a front yard and backyard, they don’t even have that in Western Europe, they don’t have that in Israel, they have it in other top countries. We’ve got it here in the United States.”
“So, I think the combination between the material wealth which impresses you and a Christian nation which is also so tremendous.”
Rep. Cory Mills from Florida emphasized the American willingness to defend freedom.
“We’re a nation who’s willing to understand peace through strength. And we’re a nation that has been willing to go ahead and pledge our lives to keep the freedoms that we have here that no other nation like ours has seen.”
The contrast couldn’t be clearer. Republicans celebrated America’s founding ideals, the Constitution, and the sacrifices that preserve freedom.
Democrats turned a patriotic question into another Trump-bashing session — and in Al Green’s case, couldn’t even pretend to care about the country on its birthday.

When a sitting congressman can’t answer ‘Are you proud to be American?’ without pivoting to impeachment, you know the Left has lost the plot. Working families across the heartland don’t wake up obsessing over Trump — they’re worried about jobs, groceries, and keeping their communities safe. The Democrat Party’s Trump Derangement Syndrome has become a full-blown addiction, and it’s costing them any connection to regular Americans who still love this country without apology.

Green is a disgrace to the black community and himself typical black DEI democrat pushed up the ladder with his big mouth.
He’s done nothing even when democrats had total control and power he’s as corrupt as they come typical black bank robber but stealing taxpayers money instead. This is why he got his ass kicked out. He should be picking cotton or corn because he accomplished nothing DEI people should hold government positions. Now the only thing he can do is bad mouth everyone who’s trying to fix everything democrats destroyed. Remember democrats allowed 20-30 Million illegals invade our country and neighborhoods and lied to the American people for 4 years saying the border is secure. And the Trillions of wasted New Green Deal and have nothing to show for it. So green maybe the country would have been better if we kept DEI people in the back of the bus. All mouth and a disgrace to yourself. Truth hurts.

Here is what i would like to ask Al Greene impeach Donald Trump for What. He did not break any laws and Impeachment is only supposed to take place when a President breaks a law and the President did not do That. But Al Greene wants him impeached for nothing i think that would be considered treason and if Al Greene or any other house member votes to impeach him without a legal reason they should be indicted by the DOJ for conspiracy to overthrow a legally elected President.

Democrats do not care about America only their own wealth and power. These are the same type people our founding father fought against and every generation since to oppose to and seek our freedom and prosperity in 1776.
Democrats are the evil from within trying to destroy our own nation. Every destructive policy within my lifetime has been driven by the Democratic Party.
This is only one True hearted Americans opinion but seems like there are many just like me still willing to fight for our Republic.
We were founded as a Republic not a Democracy. Democracy is just the tool used to keep our Republic.

I agree with the comments I have read. Al Greene is as racist as any human can be. He sees himself as superior to others. He is supposed to be a cohesive part of a group working TOGETHER for the betterment of America and the legal AMERICAN Citizens.The democrats spoke volumes when President Trump asked members of Congress to stand if they are Pround to be Americans and not ONE democrat stood. If they are not proud of the country and the represent then why did they even run for any office. Al Greene and Jasmine Crockett both an embarrassment to have ever held a seat in what should be something to be proud of. Both were booted out of their positions because they went off the rails and were not at all what their constituents thought they were were voting for. Not one democrat has done their elected duties. All they see their duty as being is get Trump. Their hatred is like an infection spreading far and wide. President Trump has done nothing accept win a fair election and got in the democrats way of destroying America. I truly believe every single democrat, with the exception on John Fetterman, is in the pocket of the Soros machine. His goal has been to destroy America from the inside. He was close ti this goal until President Trump intervened. Thank God for President Trump. If he hadn’t stepped up America would be no more. We would have fallen into being a third world country at the hands of every elected democrat. We would either be under communist rule or be a forced muslim country because Barack Hussain Obama hates America as bad as Soros does. It was interesting to hear people visiting America from the UK express their delight and surprise at how open and welcoming Americans are. They said their news media talks down America and the American people as cold and unwelcoming. They were delighted to find Americans warm and welcoming people. That made me proud of of America and all Americans that extended a welcoming hand to those that came to enjoy the games. This is what America is. The media worldwide has become an enemy to all freedom loving people. So we can assume that the media is in bed with the radical leftist of the world that is hell bent on seeing the world being ruled by one central government and all treated the same. Different cultures are not the same. It is called diversity. This is what makes everyone unique in their own way. What makes us the same is everyone wants to be treated with dignity. When other cultures move to other countries there needs to be a certain amount of assimilation. Another culture should NEVER move to another country to try to change their customs and culture. That should be widely understood. America is fighting for what our Founding Father’s created, a Free and Sovereign nation. What others seem to want is domination and oppression. This is what President Trump is fighting against and it seems he has the backing of millions of PATRIOTIC Americans and a few of the republican party members. It makes one wonder what is so horrible in America? Anyone willing to put forth the work can succeed. There are still those that want a free handout without any participation on their part. There is no pride in an accomplishment or effort made to bring about positive change when a person is unwilling to put any effort into the goal of improving their own life. There is nothing free in life ever. It takes hard work and dedication. There are a few that see others succeed and believe it was handed to them instead of the fact they worked hard for their success.

“Threat to Democracy Threat to Democracy ” about President Trump over and over again. It is a shame that a large part of adults in this country (the younger ones likely because they were not taught this in school but were taught about faggot and lesbian lifestyles instead ) that the form of government used in the USA is not a straight democracy but rather a Constitutional Republic. It is even more alarming that lawmakers ( by and large the liberal Democrats ) do not understand this.
Is there anywhere in the PLEDGE of ALLEGIANCE where the word DEMOCRACY is mentioned ? It says “to the REPUBLIC for which it stands. It does NOT say “to the DEMOCRACY for which it stands”

So sad that many Americans still vote for democrat candidates. Observing how democrat politician’s rhetoric, actions and mindset are almost unaligned with our values on how our constitutional framework function. THey oppose lawful enforcement of immigration laws by ICE, laxing 0n crimes and even turning the other way on mobs and riots destroying properties.They divide US society, racially, economic and social aspects of our life.The most damning issue right now, that the democrat Party supports socialists/Marxists candidates within their party even they know that socialism is a total threat to our freedom.
