January 1, Legacy Media BLACKOUT: Networks Refuse to Air Trump’s Explosive Election Speech

Wyatt’s Take

  • ABC, NBC, and CNN refused to air President Trump’s primetime election security address, claiming they needed to ‘fact-check’ declassified intelligence first
  • Trump revealed newly declassified documents showing Chinese Communist Party interference in 2020, including alleged attempts to manufacture illegal ballots for Biden
  • The President blasted networks as ‘fake news’ and called for license revocations, saying they’re ‘part of a plot’ to protect the radical left and hide election fraud

ABC News, NBC News and CNN refused to air President Donald Trump’s primetime speech Thursday night that addressed election security and what he called massive vulnerabilities during the 2020 election. The networks’ blackout came even as Trump prepared to reveal declassified intelligence documents about foreign interference.

Trump told the American people that “vital information” about the 2020 election had been “covered up and hidden” from them. He accused China of meddling in the 2020 election, pointing to newly declassified documents that include CIA reporting alleging the Chinese Communist Party sought to prevent his reelection.

The declassified intelligence also includes FBI claims that China attempted to manufacture illegal ballots for Joe Biden in that election. But the liberal networks had already made up their minds about how to handle Trump’s bombshell revelations.

A CNN spokesperson told Fox News Digital the network planned to cover Trump’s speech “as a news event, and monitor it for news developments” while providing on-air analysis and commentary. Translation: they’d tell viewers what to think instead of letting them hear the President directly.

CNN anchor John King gave away the game when he explained the network’s censorship decision to viewers.

“It’s because this president, sadly, has a history of misleading, and in some cases, simply false statements on elections and election security,” King said, adding that CNN wanted to independently verify newly declassified documents released by the Trump administration.

ABC News and NBC News made similar choices, relegating the President’s address to streaming platforms while their main broadcast networks stuck with regular programming. Both networks aired brief recaps after Trump finished, letting their anchors frame the message for Middle America instead of airing it live.

Trump didn’t let the snub pass without comment. He took a moment during his address to blast ABC and NBC directly, declaring them “fake news.”

“They don’t like the topic because they know how corrupt our system is, and they don’t want to reveal it,” Trump said.

“They and others in the media are part of a plot. They want to continue this fraud for whatever reason. They want to keep it going. They want to protect the radical left. They can’t have a great country — and that’s true — you can’t have a great country without free and fair elections.”

The President didn’t stop there. He went after the networks’ sweetheart broadcast license deals that give them access to public airwaves worth billions.

“Fraud like this should mean a revocation of their licenses,” Trump declared.

“They use our public, multi-billion dollar in value airwaves for absolutely no money. They pay nothing. All we want is honesty in our elections and honesty in reporting. They pay nothing for multi-billion dollar assets.”

CBS News aired a special report that provided liberal commentary before finally dipping into the speech minutes after Trump began speaking. They cut away moments after Trump’s attacks on ABC and NBC, apparently not wanting viewers to hear the criticism.

MS NOW carried the first 15 minutes live before cutting out to provide their own spin. Only Fox News carried the speech in its entirety, letting Americans hear their President without media filter.

The networks defended their censorship by pointing to precedent. ABC, CBS and NBC chose not to air President Barack Obama’s 2014 primetime speech on immigration. The three broadcast networks similarly skipped President Joe Biden’s divisive speech outside Philadelphia’s Independence Hall in 2022 that attacked MAGA Republicans.

But there’s a difference. Obama and Biden weren’t revealing declassified intelligence about foreign interference in American elections. Trump was bringing receipts about the Chinese Communist Party’s alleged role in 2020, and the legacy media decided Americans shouldn’t see it live.

Why It Matters

When the President of the United States wants to address the nation about threats to our elections and the networks refuse to carry it, that tells you everything about who they really serve. Hardworking Americans deserve to hear declassified intelligence about foreign interference directly, not filtered through anchors who’ve already decided what you should think. The airwaves belong to the people, and when media giants use them to cover up instead of cover the news, they’ve broken faith with every citizen who depends on honest reporting to make informed decisions.

Not a doubt in my mind that Trump is correct that CCPn did make the Biden election happen; remember those ballots that came in really late? I remember they did come in very late, and then Biden was pronounced President.

The leftist media, ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, do not want the American people to know the truth because they are part of the cabal. They
Job it to inform ’the people’, and if they cannot do that then they should lose they protective status or lose their licenses for pushing their and their communist ideology and narratives.

The citizens of the USA should demand that Congress and the Senate, pass a bill that makes every MSM, to give full air time to every President speech to the Nation, no matter which side of the political decide they are on, no advertising or interrupts whatsoever, they can try to follow up with their own opinions afterwards, because their continued interruptions, the people are missing a lot of the Presidents speech, it only proves they are trying their best to cover up all the wrong doings, they will have their opportunity to try and put their side of their argument, with all their so called experts, because they can only offer their own opinions, or if they can show the evidence to prove their side, so be it, bec that would allow this evidence to be put under the microscope, to see what if it’s just a talking point with out substance of facts, just speculation at best, as that’s the normal thing we find! 🤔

The media that did not carry full speech of the President’s aďdress should have their licenses revoked. Especially since they are granted use of airwaves free. The media that didn’t carry President’s speech are well known to be democrat affiliated and only report news that benefits the democrats and runs down Republicans. I’m all for pulling their licenses using bias as justification and issuing fines for abuse of airwaves.
