A bipartisan effort to build a women’s history museum in Washington, D.C. just crashed and burned, and the reason tells you everything you need to know about where the Democrat Party stands today.

The bill had support from both sides of the aisle until Democrats spotted language referring to “biological women.” That’s when the whole thing fell apart.

Instead of celebrating the achievements of women throughout American history, House Democrats revolted. They couldn’t stomach legislation that acknowledged biological reality.

The museum would have stood in our nation’s capital as a tribute to the mothers, pioneers, and trailblazers who built this country. But for the modern left, that wasn’t enough.

Democrats made it crystal clear: unless the museum includes men who identify as women, they won’t support it at all.

This wasn’t about inclusivity or fairness. This was about ideology trumping common sense. It was about forcing every American institution to bend the knee to trans activism, even when it means erasing the very definition of womanhood.

The bipartisan coalition that formed around this bill proved that Americans from different political backgrounds can still work together. But the far-left wing of the Democrat Party killed that cooperation dead in its tracks over two simple words: biological women.

Think about that for a moment. We can’t even agree that women are female anymore without triggering a political meltdown.

This museum was supposed to honor real women who fought for the right to vote, who worked in factories during wartime, who raised families while breaking barriers in medicine, science, and business.

But none of that matters to Democrats anymore. Identity politics matters more than history. Woke ideology matters more than unity.

The collapse of this bill is just the latest example of how the radical left puts politics above everything else, even when it means sabotaging their own stated goals.

When politicians can’t even celebrate women without turning it into a trans rights debate, we’ve lost our way as a nation. Most Americans know exactly what a woman is, and they’re tired of being told that basic biology is somehow hateful.
