January 1, Iran’s SHOCKING Hormuz Lie EXPOSED by U.S. Military

Wyatt’s Take
- Iranian regime caught red-handed spreading fake news about closing world’s most critical oil chokepoint
- CENTCOM confirms shipping lanes wide open despite Tehran’s desperate propaganda blitz
- Classic Middle East bully tactic: make threats you can’t back up while America’s Navy keeps commerce flowing
Iran’s military command just got caught in a whopper of a lie. They claimed they’d shut down the Strait of Hormuz — the narrow waterway that carries about 20% of the world’s oil. One problem: ships are still sailing through just fine.
U.S. Central Command didn’t mince words. Traffic continues flowing normally through the strait, they confirmed. Iran’s big threat? All talk, no action.

This is the same playbook Tehran’s been running for years. Make big claims about shutting down international waters. Rattle sabers. Hope the world takes them seriously.
Except America’s Fifth Fleet doesn’t play games. Our Navy maintains freedom of navigation in those waters, and no amount of Iranian bluster changes that reality.
The Strait of Hormuz sits between Iran and Oman, connecting the Persian Gulf to the open ocean. It’s only about 21 miles wide at its narrowest point. That makes it a strategic chokepoint — and a favorite target for Iranian threats.
But here’s what matters: threatening to close it and actually closing it are two very different things. Iran knows full well that blocking international shipping lanes would be an act of war.
They also know the U.S. military won’t tolerate it.
So instead, we get these periodic announcements designed to make headlines and create anxiety in global oil markets. The regime in Tehran figures if they can’t actually control the strait, maybe they can at least move oil prices with scary press releases.
It’s economic warfare by press conference. And CENTCOM just called their bluff in front of the whole world.
Wyatt Matters
American strength keeps the world economy moving. While Iran spreads propaganda, our Navy ensures working families don’t face $6 gas because some Middle East regime decided to play dictator. That’s the difference between tough talk and actual power — and why energy independence matters more than ever.

There should be some culpability to those who run a story that is unverified.

Trump is now acting like Obama. Is Trump a taco,? Iran tells Hezbollah to fire on Israel and Israel fights back and Trump tells Israel to stop because it will stall his Treaty? He fell for Iranian trickery. Times up Mr. president. Time to man up and pull the trigger. Your peace Treaty means nothing if the military is still in charge. However, I still love ya.
