  • A Texas Democrat running for Congress just called for turning ICE detention centers into prisons for ‘American Zionists’ — and even her own party is calling her ‘demented’
  • Top Democrats are scrambling to blame Republicans for a million-dollar super PAC backing her, despite zero evidence of GOP control
  • This is the modern Left: openly antisemitic candidates winning primary races while party bosses point fingers everywhere but at themselves

A radical Texas Democrat running for Congress has sent shockwaves through Washington after calling for ICE detention centers to be converted into prisons for “American Zionists.”

Maureen Galindo, a candidate in Texas’ 35th Congressional District, made the stunning comments on social media, adding that the facilities would also serve as castration centers for pedophiles — “which will probably be most of the Zionists.”

The backlash was swift, even from her own party.

“Maureen Galindo is a moral disgrace who has no business running for, let alone holding, elected office,” Rep. Ritchie Torres, D-N.Y., told reporters. “So she should withdraw from the race out of shame.”

“That kind of rhetoric has no place in our politics and we should not accept that kind of antisemitism here in the House of Representatives,” Rep. John Olszewski, D-Md., said. “There’s no world in which I can support a candidate like that.”

“She must be crazy — something wrong with her,” Rep. Tom Suozzi, D-N.Y. said. “That’s demented.”

But many House Democrats either dodged questions about Galindo or claimed ignorance of the controversy entirely. Rep. Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass., rushed past reporters saying she was “late for committee.”

Rep. James Clyburn, D-S.C., shrugged it off with a quick “I have no idea about Texas.”

Instead of addressing the antisemitism festering in their own ranks, top Democrats pivoted to blaming Republicans. They’ve accused the GOP of secretly funding a super PAC called “Lead Left” that has spent roughly $900,000 promoting Galindo’s campaign.

No public proof has emerged showing Republican control of the PAC. But that didn’t stop Democratic leadership from launching into attack mode.

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., said in a joint statement that “MAGA extremists should be ashamed of themselves.”

“This is disgusting, and it absolutely has to be condemned — these comments,” Rep. Pete Aguilar, D-Calif., said. “I think what also needs to be condemned is Republicans putting a million dollars behind her. Why do Republicans want her to win?”

Galindo’s radical agenda doesn’t stop at detention centers. She also pledged to pass legislation declaring that all Zionism and support of Zionism be considered antisemitic — a truly Orwellian twist.

She has denied being antisemitic herself, instead claiming she’s only opposed to “Zionist Jews.”

“I think it’s very clear that we all have to take a stand against antisemitism,” Rep. Jonathan Jackson, D-Ill., said when asked about Galindo’s comments.

Since the firestorm erupted, Galindo posted a video to Facebook attempting damage control. She claimed she never called for Jewish people to be imprisoned, but instead wants to “put billionaire American Zionists who are funding the genocidal prison systems involved in trafficking into prison.”

“I’m against all internment camps and would like to see them all shut down ASAP, starting with the many in South Texas,” Galindo said, referring to ICE detention centers.

Galindo faces off against congressional candidate Johnny Garcia on Tuesday in the Texas Democratic primary.

“She won’t make it here,” Rep. Lloyd Doggett, D-Texas, said when asked if he would pursue moving to expel her from Congress if elected. “I’m confident that the people in that district, much of which I represented for a decade, will stand with Johnny.”

Why It Matters

This is what happens when the Left loses its moral compass. A candidate openly calling for detention of American citizens based on their beliefs should be disqualifying — yet a nearly million-dollar super PAC is backing her. Democrats want to blame Republicans, but the real question is how their party became a safe space for this kind of hatred in the first place. Middle America sees it clearly: the party that lectures everyone about tolerance has become the party of division and extremism.

She is NOT an aberration in the so-called Democrat Party. She IS the party platform! For years and years this neo-nazi party has called for the destruction of Israel, of “Zionists”, has fully supported and approved of Zohran Mamdani – an avowed, open, jihadist who seeks the destruction of the Jewish People- and has and is acting upon it in NYC. So stop your supposed indignation at this atrocious beast’s ideology, because it is your own. You Jews who are still in the Party, in the Senate, in the House and in your homes across America – you are utter fools! Wake up and get out of that sick entity before YOU are the first ones to be sent to her prisons!
