January 1, EXPOSED: Fauci and His Cronies KNEW Masks Were Useless — Pushed Them Anyway

Wyatt’s Take

  • Newly released text messages confirm Fauci, CDC Director Walensky, and Biden’s top health officials knew cloth masks were worthless against COVID — yet pushed mandates anyway
  • Top epidemiologist told them in 2021 that CDC’s mask studies were junk science that couldn’t stand up to scrutiny, but they buried the truth to avoid FOIA requests
  • Millions of Americans — including toddlers and disabled kids — were forced to mask up based on lies while the ‘experts’ texted each other the real science

When Senator Rand Paul released Anthony Fauci’s private messages to the public several weeks ago, it dragged the disgraced former head of the National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases back into the spotlight. And what Americans discovered was ugly.

The “Fauci diaries” revealed what many suspected all along: the supposedly unbiased “expert” was actually an arrogant, self-obsessed, fame-hungry narcissist who routinely lied to the American people. The mainstream media — CNN, MSNBC, and the rest — either ignored the bombshell revelations or downplayed them, clearly embarrassed by their years of hero worship.

But it wasn’t just emails. Text messages released by Senator Ron Johnson showed Fauci had legitimate concerns that COVID vaccines might be causing side effects in pregnant mothers. Concerns that deserved investigation, but were apparently swept under the rug.

Now there’s more. And these new text messages should forever destroy any remaining credibility Fauci and his media allies still cling to.

One message came from Michael Osterholm, an epidemiologist at the University of Minnesota and director of the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy (CIDRAP). In April 2020, CIDRAP published an article acknowledging the truth: there was no evidence cloth masks stopped the virus. They were later forced to issue “clarifications” when the pressure to support masks became overwhelming — science be damned.

In August 2021, Osterholm sent a text to several top Biden administration health officials. The recipients? “Jeff” — likely Jeff Zients, Biden’s COVID response coordinator. “Vivek” — almost certainly Surgeon General Vivek Murthy. “Tony” — Fauci’s nickname among insiders. And “Rochelle” — CDC Director Rochelle Walensky.

The content of that text is absolutely damning. It confirms what Fauci’s critics have said for years: they all knew masks didn’t work.

“Dear Jeff, Vivek, Tony and Rochelle, I’m sending this via text messaging to avoid any FOIA issues.”

Right off the bat, Osterholm admits these “experts” were deliberately hiding information from the public. Think about that. Your government health officials were scheming to keep the truth away from you.

He continued:

“On Friday a Newsmax reporter asked Jen Psaki about my comments on face cloth coverings and protection against SARS-CoV-2 transmission. The reporter completely mischaracterized my comments made on numerous occasions over the past 16 months about ‘masks’ and the prevention of SARS-CoV-2 transmission. She was taking the Florida governor’s approach. Since April, 2020, I have been consistent in my messaging about the roles that aerosols play in transmission, and the limited benefit that cloth face coverings play in reducing risk.”

Read that again: “limited benefit.” Translation: cloth masks were worthless. These are the same cloth masks Fauci, Walensky, Murthy, and Zients shoved down America’s throat. The masks mandated by power-hungry politicians across the country. The masks forced onto toddlers, special needs kids, and working Americans who were kicked out of stores or lost jobs for refusing to comply.

They didn’t work. The virus spread through aerosols, not droplets. The science was clear since April 2020. Osterholm knew it. He told the other “experts.” And they pushed masks anyway.

The text goes on to cite the “national industrial hygienists expert group on respiratory protection,” which found cloth face coverings had virtually no protective benefit compared to wearing nothing at all.

“N-95s are necessary to be effective reducing risk with aerosol transmission. Here is a link to the ACGIH website (the national industrial hygienists expert group on respiratory protection.) Note the very limited protection from face cloth coverings versus no respiratory protection at all.”

To save face, Osterholm then claims he supports “masking” — but only with N95 masks. That’s also wrong, as we’ll see. But at least there’s a rational basis for it, unlike the useless cloth masks Fauci and Walensky demanded.

Then comes the kicker. Osterholm reveals that all of the CDC’s “evidence” supporting masks was garbage:

“CMS has supported an expert review group process for evaluating respiratory protection studies since the early days of the pandemic and have found none of the studies that CDC uses to support its statement as to the significant protection of face cloth coverings stand up to scientific scrutiny.”

Let that sink in. The CDC’s mask research was junk science. Independent experts reviewed it and found it worthless. Some of us pointed this out at the time and were censored, mocked, and called conspiracy theorists. But here’s a top epidemiologist telling Fauci and Walensky directly that their studies were trash.

These are credentialed “experts” who know what real research looks like. They’re not stupid or uneducated. They knew the CDC was pushing junk science to justify mask mandates. And they promoted it anyway because they wanted control, even as those mandates failed spectacularly.

Osterholm continued, hammering the CDC’s incompetence:

“As we all know, CDC was very late to the game recognizing that aerosols play a significant role in the transmission picture. Just look at the current US map of Delta activity and see how fast and far it has spread throughout the US. This is largely aerosol transmission driven, not respiratory droplets.”

Aerosols were the driving force of COVID spread. Which meant masks were always useless — just as pre-pandemic research had confirmed. The CDC knew this and buried it because admitting the truth would expose their mask obsession as the fraud it was.

Osterholm urged pushing N95 masks instead, but closed with this admission:

“I am certain one day that one of the take-away findings of this pandemic was the constant USG emphasis on masking while at the same time providing minimal guidance to the public what effective masking means.”

He was partially right. There is no such thing as “effective masking.” But the government’s obsessive emphasis on it is a permanent stain on public health. Masks didn’t work, and officials torched their credibility pretending they did.

And those N95 masks Osterholm recommended? They didn’t work either. Several German states mandated N95-grade masks and then reported higher case rates than states with “lower quality” mandates.

None of it worked. They all knew it. And they lied to you anyway.

Why It Matters

For two years, working families were told to shut up and obey the “experts.” Kids were masked in schools, damaging their development. Small business owners were threatened and fined. Americans lost jobs for refusing pointless mandates. And the whole time, Fauci and his cronies knew it was theater. They texted each other the truth while lying to your face. This wasn’t about science or safety — it was about power and control. And middle America paid the price.
