January 1, DESPERATE 2028 Move: Kamala Backs Radical Court-Packing Scheme She Refused to Campaign On

Wyatt’s Take
- Kamala Harris just rolled out a wish list of radical leftist policies she deliberately hid from voters in 2024 — including packing the Supreme Court and abolishing the Electoral College.
- After losing both the popular vote AND the Electoral College to Trump, she’s now calling the system that made America a republic ‘controversial’ and demanding we scrap it.
- She’s courting the Squad and meeting with AOC behind closed doors — this is the hard-left takeover Democrats promised would never happen.
Former Vice President Kamala Harris is testing out a brand new playbook for 2028, and it’s a progressive fever dream. Speaking at the National Urban League Conference in Nashville on Friday, Harris embraced a laundry list of far-left policies she carefully avoided during her 2024 presidential campaign.
The biggest bombshell? Harris wants to abolish the Electoral College — the constitutional system that ensures every state has a voice in presidential elections.
“We must allow for a real conversation about revisiting certain things,” Harris said. “I know this is gonna be controversial coming from me, in particular. We need to revisit the Electoral College.”
Let’s be clear: Harris lost both the Electoral College AND the popular vote to President Donald Trump in 2024. Now she wants to change the rules because she couldn’t win under them.
But Harris didn’t stop there. She also threw her support behind court-packing — expanding the Supreme Court to 13 justices to dilute the conservative majority.
“We need to revisit the point of expanding the court to 13 justices like we have 13 district courts,” Harris said.
While Harris has previously backed term limits for Supreme Court justices, court-packing was notably absent from her 2024 platform. Apparently, losing an election is the perfect excuse to dust off every radical idea progressives have been dreaming about for years.
Harris also floated the idea of statehood for Puerto Rico, expanding beyond her previous support for making Washington, D.C., a state. Both moves would likely add Democratic senators and tip the balance of power in Congress for generations.
Despite rolling out this progressive wish list, Harris claimed she hasn’t decided whether she’ll run in 2028.
“I have not made a decision,” she told attendees. “I am fully, sincerely, focused on these midterms.”
Nobody’s buying it. Democratic insiders have already called Harris the “fairly obvious” frontrunner for 2028, and she’s been busy courting the party’s progressive wing.
When Rev. Al Sharpton asked her at the National Action Network’s 35th Anniversary Convention in April whether she planned to run again, Harris didn’t exactly rule it out.
“I might. I might. I’m thinking about it… I’ll keep you posted,” she said.
In recent months, Harris has been making the rounds with far-left Democrats. She called New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani in May and later met privately with Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez during a Black women’s empowerment summit in Chicago.
The message is clear: Kamala Harris is preparing to run in 2028, and she’s betting that the Democratic Party’s future belongs to the radical left. Court-packing, abolishing the Electoral College, adding blue states — it’s all on the table.
This is the same Kamala Harris who couldn’t win a single primary delegate in 2020 before dropping out. The same candidate who lost to Trump decisively in 2024. Now she’s back, doubling down on the policies that alienate middle America.
Why It Matters
The Founders created the Electoral College to protect smaller states from being steamrolled by population centers. Scrapping it would mean New York and California pick every president while the heartland gets ignored completely. Court-packing destroys the independence of the judiciary and turns the Supreme Court into a political prize for whoever holds power. These aren’t reforms — they’re a power grab disguised as progress, and working Americans will pay the price when their voices are drowned out by coastal elites.
